I never implied that you could just call up DirecTV and say, "give me that Sirius/XM content for free." I guess you didn't see the words directly following that said, "...with their DirecTV subsciption." I do think that there are some things in life that are free though, but you have to have an open heart to see them....Quote:

By being on Direct TV Sirius is getting exposure for "free" and most likely they are getting royalties... If one Direct TV subscriber out of 100 subscribes to Sirius because of this exposure, then for me that is a good deal. If you force the issue and make Sirius a "premium" on Direct TV then the exposure to new potential clients goes away.
