I was wondering why this came out yesterday and the stock dropped today. Was it just profit taking? I am just curious as I wasn't following it.

(“SpongeTech”) “The Smarter Sponge™, (OTCBB: SPNG) is pleased to announced that the Company has received approximately $13.5 million in new orders thus far in August. LOL - I emailed my GF who I had bought some ASFX for her account, but also put a link for the thermometer first, since her sister had a baby. She of course looked at the thermometer link, not the chart link, and when I emailed back, she still hadn't looked at the chart, so I called, and then she looked at it, but didn't notice the white bar, so she kept saying "it looks down, look at the red bar". So I had her read the numbers across, and she read the price change, and then she says, "ok", so then I said, look at the percent change. She said "wow", followed by "is that good?".
As long as the price is bound, and the volume keeps lowering, its ok with me for today... the direction it takes next is where I'll get weirded out.

Ah... I shoulda pounded the ask with the big bucks. 0.025 is the next one down (too remain in hedged ambiguosity, just saying, that's the line, not that I think it will hit it tomorrow).

I like this one though... a normal retest would have just hit the line... though some go in a fib or two...

Here's a more common retest... bounce of the sideways channel, but close on the upward channel. Looks like there are two sets of players fighting on these.

Gap fill and rebound - shows how a small put could have settled your nerves, if placing a put, set the stop to the high in case it didn't fill the gap.. only a minor loss... but if the gap is filled, you'd make bank. Looking for the same action on PCLN... fingers crossed.

Riding that Fib retracement... will feel safer at above 0.08 - duh?

Likely dumb of me, but I removed my original today at 0.01. I'm pretty positive it has another day, like 99% positive, but I feel better getting the 1 bird back in the hand. Chalk one up for google maps.

There is a huge 10k coming out probably next friday or 2 mondays (aug. 31st) Not a single retail owner that is in on this stock is going to part with shares until it comes out. Combining the pr's and the ultra tight trading range and low volume this one is set to spring on good news, the first half sales i think were expected and people want to see something on paper in the form of a 10k rather than a pr. Also, there is arguments over what "orders" are versus "reorders" and when they acually get paid on the orders. (oh yeah, all the nfl pr's beat people up too so i think some are afraid of what the advertising dollars were)
The very minute that pr about the august orders came out the volume spiked and the price spiked too but then it settled down within seconds.
At the same time the company is buying back shares and the ceo and coo are buying shares on the open market.
Being that im new to really tracking the daily workings of a stock...My interpretation is that there are people who are afraid that a sponge is a sponge and isn't something to invest in and then there are others that know this sponge is not a sponge but a delivery device, with huge medical and household potential.
What im getting at is I don't understand how much power the MM's have in controlling the stock price. There is also supposedly a huge naked short shares listing on this stock but i have no evidence, so that could be holding down.
More rumor mill...Interesting thing is someone mentioned there could be a stock or cash dividend that would cause a count of the O/S and NSS and a giant short squeeze.
So...until the 10k comes out the market cap is set at 100MM and .14 is the value of the company...
i could go on and on...so many thoughts i got swimming around, ive read everything and tried the product...im currently 63% in this stock based on all that.
im at foxwoods. cant focus on stocks no more ,sorry. big game for me tomorrow . gl on your trades and i may lurk here and there. ty gn
Andy, you are THE MAN. Thank you so much.
I am planning on sending you a slice of West Virginia in return. As soon as I figure out *exactly* what that is made of, I'll let you know. ;)
OT--I am planning a possible trip to Anchorage next June with the wife and kids, to run the half marathon up there. I've been to AK...but everybody else has not.
Depending on how BEHL does in the coming month or two...we could very well be taking a trip to your hometown next spring/summer. If so...we will definitely have to meet up, drink a few, tell stories, etc.
If BEHL goes past .20...you can just pencil us in on the calendar as of that very day. :D
Big Sandy, and any other AFSX's -
I went to the hub to check it out... they picked up a lot of bashers, as usual... they have been tooting that the product of the PR isn't that valuable... and dug up this old article, I guess its been on the market before, but didn't do so hot. Not sure what it means for the stock tomorrow... I still expect a run up... but as always, I never expect things to shoot for the moon, and there to always be a pullback... especially when there are plenty sitting there with 1000% gains - which rings pretty true for any of these penny stocks, IMO... so since we're 3/4 of the way up to that level in a day, just keep on your toes in case you are thinking of pulling out some gains. So, not bashing... just as usual, putting it out that I always think there is a pullback, and not sure how much these guys are scaring people at the hub. Also, not sure what the previous company did with it, and if they failed, and if they did fail, why they did. Seems this company has the ability to put things thru the pipeline... 12345 ABC, a general model, but the model doesn't tell ever where the targets are, thats where the other stuff comes in, and of course, as all tea leaf reading goes, targets not always hit.
Here's the article.. gotta get to work, just thought I'd throw it out there.
