Charles seems to feel that I may be reading too much into the screenshot. He doubts there is a connection between the 2. Brandon, I have to side with Charles on this as well. Notice that this application seems to have the ability to record streams. I live out in Hawaii, so don't get the Satellite feed but was looking for a way to record some of my favorite Sirius shows and put them on my ipod to listen in my car. I e-mailed the Nicemac guys to see if they had thought about having a record capability and he replied saying that legally, there was no way they could put in the capability to record Sirius XM streams.

Brandon,
I posted to your news story about this. I'm thinking that this is an internet radio platform and that the ipod/iphone app. that SiriusXM is coming out with is something totally different. I could be wrong, but that's my feeling on this.

This is my first post in this forum. I found most of you over at SA a couple of months ago and followed you over here. It's the first stock posting site I've ever come across that was worth spending any time at. Anyway, just kind of wanted to say hi, since I'm feeling very much like a peeping Tom half the time.

I tried to copy a link from a german newspaper, you can see a VW-dealer last saturday, they had 3000 customers, they desperately try to buy new cars after the goverment doubled the stimulus package for the automakers.

CG, I used babblefish.com to translate that article and it said "Tis is a good ting!"

Maybe the WE should follow what works in other countries instead of tossing billions to the automakers why not offer 5-10k vouchers to anyone that wants to buy a new U.S. made car. Hell I read not to long ago that Brazil mandated that automakers there sell the cars at cost so as not to lose jobs. Here is a recent link.

I don't know your standpoint about climate change, but all the new cars have much better mileage and are more environmental friendly, well it can't hurt can it ?

I see one problem with that if they sell allot of cars now instead of over a longer span, it could hurt the automakers down the road.

A protracted low numbers for car sales going forward.

You do have a point it appears to me the car makers wouldn't know how to manage a golden egg that was laid in their nest. They would think "hey look how great we are doing." and proceed to do nothing in developing energy friendly cars or changing their business model at all.

Side note for all of us that thought that the GM CEO resigned for noble reasons. Looks like he has 20 million reasons for resigning now instead of waiting until after a BK.
