This is an order entered sometime during the day that grants discretionary power to the trader, so that, as near as possible to the end of the trading day, a market order will be executed.

My scottrade ticker is showing .371 close but the funny thing is the time was off. at 16:00:04 my ticker showed the close of .371 but said the time of close was 16:00:17

You know, to be honest, Im tired of watching it close like that. Pure manipulation. Getting old. We basically closed at .38 cents. Lets not kid ourselves. And much higher was there for the taking if any late orders came through(large ones). Looks like the big money has no balls today for the SiriusXM. O well, there loss. This trading range reminds me now of bottoming at .12. Sure there were a few breaks up or down, but not much. Kind of like .36 cents is acting. Is that the new bottom? HHHMMMMMM.......
Are the MM's scared that our little group will pounce on any shares offered significantly lower? I think they are, the see the killer dog coming, and his troops right behind.

News on this topic. Yahoo DECIDES what price they want to post as the close. There discresion. Is this sueable?> Any lawyers? They literally lie. Is that legal?
My etrade said close is .371 too. But My level 2 had the last trade coming in at .377 something. Dont remember now. If end of day trades count for closing price, then I guess they were all end of day sellers, which I cant believe. End of day buyers, yes. MM's can literally choose the close then, if they get more sellers eod than buyers.

Just got in and see that the last trading day of the quarter held nicely.... that is if you count T+3 for the last day of trading.... They'll take it up next week when some new money and repositioning of funds take place.... then its a tough road to Q1 reporting ..... if it goes to .42-.45 I might close out 1/2 until the Q1 report is out.... then jump back in for the good times....

Hey John see your hanging in tough.... many of us know that your past calls have been right on.... you have more energy than me for that at this point... its a whole new day and a new group of traders, but I know that your shining personality and winning ways will set them straight....:D:D

MM's don't make money on low volumes. I would expect to see the MM's throw a little flash in the price next week to induce more transactions.

I agree and would think that it might take us until Mid Week and then a sell off again by end of the week.... As companies start to report their Q1 numbers, even though most know they will be bad, there is nothing like the reality of reporting to bring it home and cause a pull back... Over the last thirteen days the markets have risen a nice 20%. There will be a pull back to reset positions for the Q2.... IMHO
