John, I'm not sure where you get your facts about who won the debate between Vice President Biden and Fox Personality Palin.

I just did a Google search and found the following story.

I hope you notice that a poll done by FOX news found that Biden won by 61%. Please get your facts right about this stuff. She isn't that bright and she isn't that well liked by the majority of Americans.

It was her, Sarah Palin that gave us Obama as President. McCain blew it John. And now we all have to pay for his mistakes.

Point of fact that proved Obama:

A) lied when he said he never heard Rev. Wright say any racist remarks.

B) Obama is a racist to agree with that so much that he used it in his book.

Now while those things were not brought up in a debate dont you think if the MSM was fare they would have brought it up. Then again everyone knows the MSM is hugely bias to the left and maybe they should have done a little more research into who they voted for to run the country they are going to live in.

Havakasha, that is just incredible! We are SO DAMN LUCKY to not have her as our President. And I will always say it that way because, whomever is Vice President can easily become President at the worst possible moments of our lives. She just was never fit to run a state, let alone a country.

I'm not saying that President Obama is any great guy by the way. But, I truly think that if Palin was President, we would be in a depression rather than a recession.

I'm not saying she is dumb or lazy like John thinks of South Americans. I'm just saying that she makes a better entertainer than she does a member of government.

Here's a union story for you.

My wife has a Masters Degree in Education and has worked in private schools for over 30 years. She's a great teacher! But, she's never made enough money for even a single person to live on and get ahead in the world. Her best year in private schools has been 28K in a twelve month school, and that is without ANY benefits.

I have five kids. Three of them teachers. They all teach in Unionized Public Schools. Starting pay for each of them was more than mom ever made. I think about 35 to 40K to start and fantastic benefits.

The moral of the story is that those kids joined a union and live a better life than mom could.

Unions are not all bad! They are not all Socialists. They make it so people can have jobs that pay them a living wage.

I know there is a lot of abuse of the system in unionized jobs. But, there are also a lot of people that without a union could not make a living wage.

By the way, they all are Republicans and usually vote that way. And to top it off, one of them married a kid from Ecuador in South America of all places, and he's a friggin Republican. He laughs his ass off as he reads along with this thread.:confused:

Hummm, maybe because when broken down to a per person ratio Alaskans debt is 9,000 per person and in 2008 they each got over 3,200 from oil royalties. Yes something tells me if we look at CA. debt per person we will find it is much higher and they dont get sqwat.

Hummm, I also seem to recall Ca. calling for a bail out to just keep from going bankrupt. Ho I also dont ever remember Alaska giving people I.O.U.s instead of the money they owe the people back on their taxes. No unlike Ca, and NY., and coming to a state near you, Il., and CT., Alaska's checks are still good.
