Several times in the past 24 hours, CNN has aired the video of Jeremy Diamond asking Donald Trump on the White House lawn yesterday, "What do you think of polls showing the number of Americans who want you impeached and removed from office is greater than the number who don't?" Trump told him, "You're reading the wrong polls." Diamond clarified, "They're from CNN, Fox News, ABC, NBC, Wall Street Journal....." and Trump interrupted to declare, "The CNN polls are fake. The Fox polls have always been lousy. The real polls, and you look at the ones that came out this morning, people don't want anything to do with impeachment. It's a phony scam. It's a hoax. And the whistleblower should be revealed because he gave false information."
What are those "real polls," you ask? They don't exist – except in Trump's deranged, delusional mind. Why is impeachment a "phony hoax" and a "scam," you ask? It isn't. What "false information" did the whistleblower give, you ask? None. Welcome to Trumpworld.

MSNBC's Ari Melber reached the same conclusion as Newsweek: Trump's quid-pro-quo offer to Ukraine is a form of bribery, which Article II of the Constitution declares to be an impeachable offense. Unfortunately, because United States Attorney General William Barr acts as though he's Trump's personal attorney, the Justice Department has not launched a criminal investigation – and perhaps never will. Who cares about some silly old 18th-century document anyway?
Trump may have broken federal bribery laws in the Ukraine scandal – but what will his Justice Department do about it?

We know Emperor Trump hires aides, advisers, department heads and cabinet members who will be blindly loyal to him and will lie to protect him. Anyone who is not blindly loyal will be fired and replaced. Trump continually calls former Secretary of State Clinton "Crooked Hillary" – but his own Secretary of State isn't crooked at all. He's just blindly loyal to Trump and lies to protect him. In Trumpworld, being blindly loyal and lying to protect Trump are virtues.
Former adviser contradicts Secretary of State Mike Pompeo under oath
Pompeo said his aide never floated issuing a statement of support for the ex-ambassador to Ukraine. Michael McKinley testified that he mentioned it three times.

When all the details of Watergate became known, more people wanted Nixon impeached and I think the same thing will happen with President Trump. When people learn more details about Ukraine and the phone call they will be more in favor of impeaching him but I still do not think any Republicans will vote against him. It is like you say, they put their party first and they do not really care what is right or wrong.

If it turns out that 75% of voters want Trump impeached and removed from office and no Senate Republicans vote against him, they're going to lose a lot of voters in 2020, 2022 and 2024. You can quote me.
As head of the CIA in 2017, Mike Pompeo affirmed that Russian trolls under the direction of Vladimir Putin created thousands of fake accounts on social media and interfered with our 2016 Presidential election. Pompeo is now Secretary of State and he's a "changed man." He's abandoning career diplomats whom Trump is critical of and he helped Trump and Giuliani oust ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, who refused to go along with Trump's quid-pro-quo offer. Pompeo is also trying to prevent State Department officials from testifying in the impeachment inquiry and he's pushing Trump's discredited "fake news" story that Ukraine hacked the DNC server. And, oh yes, he's been lying to protect Donald Trump. Why would anyone try to protect Donald Trump? That is a mystery.

Ambassador Sondland testified that Rudy Giuliani's efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden was "improper," "insidious" and probably illegal. Emperor Trump, of course, is above the law and makes his own laws.

Thirteen current and former government officials have testified about Emperor Trump's dirt-on-Biden-in-exchange-for-military-aid offer. Trump calls them "Never Trumpers" and "human scum." How dare they criticize the Emperor! Sondland, the founder and chairman of Provenance Hotels and co-founder of Aspen Capital merchant bank in Portland, Oregon, was a major donor to Trump's Presidential campaign. In 2018, Trump selected Sondland to be US Ambassador to the European Union. Sondland is a Republican. Now that Sondland has detailed the quid-pro-quo offer to Ukraine, will Trump disregard the facts and call Sondland a "Never Trumper" and "human scum"? Very likely – and the noose is tightening.

Knowing they can't defend the indefensible, Senate Republicans may take a page from the Donald Trump playbook by using his "divert, deflect, distract" tactic: "We don't want to talk about Trump; we want to talk about what the Bidens did – or at least what Trump claims they did." Sorry, Republicans, the Bidens will not be on trial. Trump will.

From Stephanie Grisham, who praises Trump as if he's a god, to William Barr, who acts as though he's Trump's personal attorney, almost everyone in the Trump White House is a sycophant, a toady and a yes-man. (Those initials spell "sty," an apt description for the Trump White House.) The Secretary of State's blindly loyal devotion to Trump may, ironically, wind up costing him his job.

Adam Schiff says the House will begin conducting open impeachment hearings November 13. Republicans continue to insist there's nothing wrong with a Republican President pressuring another country's President to investigate a Democratic political rival. In the Federalist Papers urging ratification of the Constitution, Alexander Hamilton described an impeachable offense as "the abuse or violation of some public trust." For Republicans, obviously, that applies only to Democrats.

Gordon Sondland, Bill Taylor, Mick Mulvaney, Tim Morrison, Laura Cooper, Marie Yovanovitch and many other government officials have given very clear, very specific details of Trump's quid pro quo offer to Ukraine. However, Lindsey Graham – who disregards the facts and whose policy is "See no evil in Trump, hear no evil about Trump, speak no evil about Trump" – has outdone himself in trying to defend the indefensible. Graham now says Trump's Ukraine policy is "incoherent" and therefore Trump just couldn't possibly have arranged a quid pro quo. Wow.
Republicans bend over backward to defend Trump
Senator Lindsey Graham may have just set the bar impossibly high with his defense of the President on charges of a quid pro quo.

Emperor Trump claimed he wanted to "root out corruption" but the only "corruption" he cares about is any that may involve the Bidens – and, oh yeah, the DNC server that Trump believes Ukraine has (except they don't). Hey, Ukraine, you want to root out corruption? Start with the Trump White House.

Did Ukraine try to "take down Trump" in our 2016 Presidential election? No, absolutely not. But Trump and Giuliani – who cohabit in Trumpworld, the land of delusions – believe otherwise. One of the reasons Trump withheld Congressionally-approved military aid from Ukraine was so he could pressure their government into investigating that (non-existent) election interference.
So.......Ukraine meddled, Russia did not meddle, Obama was born in Kenya, Obama is a Muslim, Antonin Scalia was murdered, Vince Foster was murdered, vaccines cause autism, there is rampant voter fraud, climate change is a hoax, tariffs do not hurt Americans, tax cuts will not benefit the wealthy, Ted Cruz's father helped kill JFK, New Jersey Muslims celebrated on 9/11, Democrats inflated the Hurricane Maria death toll to make Trump "look bad" and the Zelensky phone call was "perfect." For someone who constantly squawks about "fake news," Trump certainly spreads a lot of fake news. A lot.

Kent said Giuliani's pursuit of a "shadow foreign policy" was "wrong" and undermined US foreign policy in Ukraine. Giuliani refuses to admit he did anything wrong. Bolton, a former national security adviser, failed to show up for an interview with impeachment investigators. He said he wants "a future in Republican politics" and therefore does not want to be viewed as an asset to Democrats. In other words, he's a typical Republican: Trump and the Republican party come first and the Constitution, the rule of law, the Presidential oath of office, our nation's system of checks and balances and the integrity of our elections are unimportant.

Emperor Trump continues to call the impeachment inquiry a "hoax" and continues to attack the whistleblower despite a cease-and-desist letter from the man's legal team. Trump called the whistleblower a "disgrace" – actually, it is Trump who is a disgrace – and said lead attorney Mark Zaid should be tried for treason. Yes, this is the same Emperor Trump who told reporters he's "not concerned" about the impeachment inquiry testimonies. Just another lie.
