On five occasions when President Trump met with his BFF Vladimir Putin, Trump made sure there were no recordings or transcripts of the meetings and he swore the translators to secrecy. What is he hiding? Does Putin have damaging information about Trump? Is he blackmailing Trump? Is that why Trump never says anything negative about Putin or Russia? But wait -- there's more! Это становится страшно!

Referring to Donald Trump, Roger Stone said yesterday the Russia investigation is like a "speeding bullet heading for his head." Six Trump advisers and associates have been indicted so far and more indictments are believed to be forthcoming. If, as Trump keeps insisting, there was never any collusion, then why have so many of these men lied about their contacts and dealings with Russia? And why is Trump so secretive about his meetings with Putin? What is he hiding? очень подозрительно!

Donald Trump -- who continues to insist there was never any collusion -- attacks the Mueller investigation almost daily, calling it a "witch hunt" and complaining about "angry, conflicted Dems" (even though Mueller is a Republican). Now we learn that Russia, too, is trying to discredit the investigation. What are Trump and Russia afraid of? очень подозрительно!

The NRA donated a record $30,300,000 to Trump's Presidential campaign. The NRA had gotten several big contributions from Russians but insists none of the Russian donations were part of that $30,300,000. Yeah, right. The NRA kept the Russians' donations in a separate, isolated account, I suppose? Suuure. Trump, Russia's choice for President of the United States, lost the popular vote but was awarded the Presidency by the Electoral College. In April 2017, Trump spoke at the NRA's annual convention and declared, "You have a true friend and champion in the White House." Translation: Buy all the guns and ammo you want; we'll make more. And now we're learning more about the Trump-NRA-Russia triumvirate:
NRA's ties to Russia and alleged spy Maria Butina run deep despite denials, report says

Maria Butina, the Russian spy who infiltrated the NRA, and David Keene, a former NRA president with ties to Butina, arranged for several NRA donors and board members to visit Russia in 2015. We know both Russia and the NRA wanted Trump elected President and we know several Russians gave money to the NRA. The NRA executives are now claiming they tried to halt the Russia trip when they learned Butina was a spy. They're lying.

Even though Robert Mueller's Russia investigation has led to criminal charges against 34 people so far, including Trump's former lawyer, Trump's former campaign manager, Trump's former deputy campaign manager and Trump's former national security adviser, each of whom has pleaded guilty, Trump continues to denounce the investigation as a "witch hunt." The squawking orange-skinned parrot needs to learn some new phrases besides "Rigged!" and "Fake news!" and "Witch hunt!"
Trump said 'you have to get rid of the Russia witch hunt' and parroted a Kremlin talking point on CBS' Face The Nation
Trump also downplayed the crimes members of his inner circle pleaded guilty to and suggested he may object to the release of a final report in the Russia probe.

We know Russian trolls meddled in our 2016 election and we know they will meddle in our 2020 election -- and, not surprisingly, they love Donald Trump and his "Make America Great Again" slogan. очень подозрительно!
Russian troll accounts purged by Twitter pushed Qanon and other conspiracy theories
NBC News, Feb 2 2019 6:56 AM
A new batch of troll accounts identified by Twitter as having ties to Russia's propaganda operation revealed an emphasis on promoting far-right conspiracy theories such as Qanon to Americans. Twitter removed 418 accounts tied to the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency, the disinformation group whose employees were indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller last February for attempted election interference.
The accounts' tweets featured the hashtag #MAGA, usually in support of President Donald Trump, almost 38,000 times — the most of any hashtag. #ReleaseTheMemo, a social media campaign pushed by allies of the President last year that aimed to discredit some members of the FBI, was tweeted 37,583 times. The second-most tweeted topic was #Qanon, a baseless conspiracy theory that claims Mueller and Trump are secretly working together to take down a global pedophile ring run by celebrities and Democratic politicians. In all, the 418 accounts sent out more than 900,000 tweets.

Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Russian agent Konstantin Kilimnik had several discussions about a plan that would end, or ease, US-led sanctions against Moscow over Russia's 2014 invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea. These talks began in August 2016 and continued into 2018. Other Trump aides had similar communications with Russia -- and then lied about them to the FBI. Mueller is investigating whether Trump and his associates made any secret deals with Russia. And remember, Trump has gone to great lengths to ensure we don't find out what he and Putin discussed in five separate meetings. The noose is tightening.

Throughout his career as FBI director, Robert Mueller seldom spoke publicly. We know about all the indictments and criminal charges that have resulted from his Russia investigation but we still do not know what he's found regarding Trump's ties to Russia. When the investigation is completed, Mueller will submit a confidential report to the Attorney General, who may decide against making the report public. If that happens and if Mueller stays silent, we may never know the truth -- unless Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein can discover it.
Robert Mueller has spent two years investigating Trump and he hasn't said a word. It's possible he never will.

The Trump campaign did not collude with Russia -- and then they did. The Trump Tower meeting was about Russian adoptions -- and then it was about getting dirt on Hillary Clinton. Trump did not write a statement for Donald Jr. -- and then he did. Trump never signed a letter of intent to build a Trump Tower in Moscow -- and then he did. Comey was fired over his handling of the Clinton email investigation -- and then he was fired over the Russia investigation. Trump and his administration keep telling lies, then get caught lying, then change their stories. Disgraceful!

Michael Flynn lied about his contacts with Russians. Michael Cohen lied about his contacts with Russians. Paul Manafort lied about his contacts with Russians. Why did these men lie? Who were they trying to protect? Obviously, they were protecting Donald Trump, the Liar-In-Chief, who has finally stopped telling the lie that nobody in his campaign colluded with Russians. Adam Schiff is understandably skeptical of Republican committee members' conclusion that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia. The way I see it, it's akin to a committee of foxes concluding that the Head Fox did not raid the henhouse.
Adam Schiff says Trump-Russia collusion 'evidence in plain sight'
HuffPost, Feb 17 2019 4:28 PM
House intelligence committee Chairman Adam Schiff insisted today there is no question that evidence points to President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign colluding with Russia, despite what his Republican counterparts in the Senate say. "You can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion, pretty compelling evidence," the Congressman said on CNN's State Of The Union. However, he noted, "There's a difference between seeing evidence of collusion and being able to prove a criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt."
Earlier this month, Senate intelligence committee Chairman Richard Burr told CBS News his panel had discovered nothing to indicate collusion had occurred, though Schiff has stood firmly against that conclusion. Schiff cited the 2016 Trump Tower meeting in which Donald Trump Jr. was promised dirt from Russians on then-Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, as well as Trump's soon-to-be national security adviser Michael Flynn discussing sanctions with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Presidential transition.
"All of this is evidence of collusion, and you either have to look the other way to say it isn't or you have to have a different word for it, because it is a corrupt dealing with a foreign adversary during a campaign," Schiff said. "But it will be up to special counsel Robert Mueller to determine whether that amounts to criminal conspiracy."

In an interview that aired tonight on CBS-TV's 60 Minutes, McCabe said the FBI was completely justified in launching an investigation into Trump-Russia connections and the security threat they pose. McCabe believes Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey over "this Russia thing" (as Trump called it) could be obstruction of justice. Duh! By the way, McCabe is a Republican. So is Robert Mueller, even though Trump keeps complaining about "angry conflicted Dems."
