I agree with you about free cash flow that is why I own so many shares. But keeping profits off the bottom line keeps appreciation from happening because of negative press. I'm staying long regardless of what happens.
Sirius XM matches Street 2Q forecasts
NEW YORK (AP) — Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (SIRI) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $102.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of 2 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 3 cents per share. The results met Wall Street expectations. The satellite radio company posted revenue of $1.12 billion in the period, also meeting Street forecasts. Sirius XM expects full-year revenue of $4.5 billion.
Sirius XM's revenue rises due to strong U.S. auto sales
Sirius XM Holdings Inc reported an 8.5 percent rise in quarterly revenue as strong U.S. auto sales helped it add more paying subscribers for its satellite radio service. The company's net income fell to $102.8 million in the second quarter ended June 30, from $120 million a year earlier. Earnings per share was flat at 2 cents, the company said. Revenue rose to $1.12 billion from $1.04 billion, the company said.

AAPL is going to continue to react to China since they are pushing exposure there and it's assumed that is why the phone sales came in light (right or wrong as that is) vs. "analyst" estimates.
That's exactly my concern SF. China takes a dump as whole and suddenly those 121's are underwater by $5 with 3 days to go. If I can get out this AM at break even or around that I will. Live to fight another day. I like the futures today, so that should help.
Nice numbers for SIRI this morning. Even better guidance. Hopefully that translates into $4+ sp again...but as you pointed out before, I think there might be a lot of selling at that price and it could act as a short term ceiling...either way, it's good news.
They kept saying the settlement payment will be paid next month...did i hear that right? And the settlement payment will be excluded from q3 fcf.
As far as streaming global...not happening anytime soon!

Great quarter!
I love this quote:
"We repurchased 144 million shares for $560 million during the second quarter, and this year through yesterday we have repurchased 338 million shares for approximately $1.3 billion. Our growing free cash flow, low leverage and undrawn credit facility allow us to continue investing in growth, while providing flexibility to pursue strategic opportunities and return capital to shareholders," noted David Frear, Chief Financial Officer, SiriusXM.
