Edit: You know there's a way to ignore people so you don't have to see or read their posts. It's easy to do and it makes it simple to eliminate the people you mention. It makes the forum much more pleasant. The best part is they have no clue you've ignored them. :) We had to remove a couple people (that post here) from our chat room because of their disruption.
Edit 2: You should really think about not giving Dom anymore money. It's people like you that give him time to scam and steal from others. In my book, you are no different from him if you knowingly help him steal from people. You should rethink what you are doing.

What I do know is, fios just became available in my area and people around me started jumping ship from comcast. Those they aren't jumping ship are getting better rates (lower margins for comcast) because of the competition offered by fios.
Prior to Verizons arrival we had no other options and zero bargaining power.
Comcasts cable division looked a lot better when they had a complete monopoly on the most heavily populated areas in Massachusetts (and other states).

From what Dolan at Cablevision stated at a conference last week Broadband EBITDA margins are SEVEN TIMES higher that Cable TV EBITDA margins so basically Comcast makes tons more profit on cord cutters as people shift to broadband streaming from linear TV viewing.
