Hey Bill! Having a great day now that the markets are closed. I've been taking a beating, but still up over 100% overall since Dec 08 when I started back with trading. Still can't beat that anywhere else!

ASFX tanked as expected... sell on news, had a gap and trap yesterday, and kept on selling today. Hopefully will hold in the 0.02 range. Large red candle, but on a little lighter volume. So hopefully, it'll hold up, and not head below 0.01.... at least for a while.
Hey Matt and "Vista" users:

This is from the stock hideout. It think it is kind of tantalizing:
I would wait for the MACD to turn around.

If you have advertising still leaking through, just go to the hosts.txt file and insert the website where it is coming from (in the same format the ones are in there all ready) and it will be eliminated. It is essentially a batch file made of text and just isn't all that complicated.
received this email from Scotty today, anyone heard anything???

Excerpting this, I can agree;
"Hey Bill! Having a great day now that the markets are closed."
Sigh ... Actually had a crappy day in general, too much wanted to fast ... beat up at work, beat up on the stocks ... wow only two more days until "next week" :(
Got a feeling QASP will be cheap again tomorrow, might as well continue to avg. down ... and pray.
OK, got the pity party out of me ... I'm kind of glad to hear some of the negative sentiment on the shrub re: QASP to tell the truth. What I am learning is to really go after the drawbacks, the 'what if's', just more of that scrutinizing ... Looking back on miggle seems there was enough red flags ... What I am beginning to get concerned with is that although there is a buy back in place it appears the O\S is increasing, nobody seems to have a good answer for this, well considering the source ... maybe we haven't broached the subject here?
I don't know just ... suspicious
Hey Tib,
Let's just hope for a good day. The big market is going bonkers and there isn't a logical reason why.
This market really changes over time. I am back in Qasp now. I am just a sucker for punishment (hopefully not). Only 30K shares. Nothing gigantimungus or even dryly moderate (I love adjectives and adverbs...a guy can murder the English language with them), lol.
I hope it's a symbol change or something non consequential. All I've seen over the past 3 months are red red red. It's gotta turn around somewhere??? I'm so tempted to sell some and take the loss and buy in at these cheaper prices on behl and qasp but I feel I've bought enough and though my averages are 100% higher than the current prices, I believe they will come back, it just will take some time
Yeah, I have to rememebr that nothing has really changed other than the SP taking a hit (and the interesting doubling in volume) and the time delay on acquisition news ...
That last part ... shades of miggle again? "Producion numbers" "Acquisitions" ... Always right around the corner ... just leaning on the cycnical side, not all the way there yet.
Hey Geek. They are trading on the grey market right now, I guess it's kind of the underworld of the netherworld. They get up when they feel like it to trade. I did put a GTC order for a nice fat fingered penny out there (same with EVFL) ... Figured why not, must have been bored or annoyed that day.
We are shadowing each other so closely on our prices it's uncanny or we're just really exceptionally bad at this ... But I am a hopeful sort even if the patience thing is like water-boarding, we may yet look like geniuses for hanging in there ...
I've tried to sell all of mine... as soon as it got halted, I wanted out first thing, but wasn't awake the first day. Then when I was awake, there was no bid or ask, so scotty wouldn't let me even place an order. I consider this one as dead. If you ever get a chance to sell it at any price, take it, that's my opinion.
I really like that chart - if it evens out a day or too more, I say just buy at the support level, and exit if it drops below. Let's see if it holds that 0.20.
I need to be here at work for a 30 hour marathon.. so I'll likely be awake during the whole trading day here at work, so I'm gonna cut some of the losers, look for new stuff.
What's the program you are using by the way? does it have all the stockcharts tools? is it free?
Nope, nope and nope, lol. I just linked to the stockhideout's daily stock analyzer charts (for just illustrative purposes of what a fine site they have). They have lots of stuff, for tons of youngin's and older slowsters in there things a little different. You have to be there at the opening bell and they give you a pick. Obviously somebody else has all ready invested in it. So all the people that hang out there run with the pick and make money. My only hang-up is that I want to know the pick before the horses come out of the gate. I give them my highest kudos for what they do for their niche market.
Their daily stock letter is really good with these types of charts. It is a worthy piece of mail.http://www.stockhideout.com/Default.aspx You can sign up for it here:
You know that you can only get slapped in the head with a 2x4 so many times before you start to try and figure out what in the hell is going on. Even a dog will just lay down and piss after a while. Everybody and everything has to win once in a while for confidence.
I used to love (and would still love to) go to the horse races. To me that is an absolute rush. The first time that I went, I thought it was the most boring thing that I had ever been to, because I was ready to slap money down every 5 minutes...but the races ran every 45 minutes. I didn't have a mentor, so over a period of time I got to meet some trackie friends and we would meet on Saturdays and Sundays for the race day.
Well, my track buddies taught me how to handicap horses (no, not by breaking their knees). They gave me the basics and then I got some books and took it from there. Well, low and behold, I barely had enough time in between races to get to the window to make a bet. Sometimes we would carry each others' bets to make up for time lost. We would send somebody else for the hot dogs and beer ...and so on.
Well, after a period of time, you get a pretty good idea of who is hanging out at the races and how well they are doing. Everybody has their eyes on everybody that matters. Small players..big players...it doesn't matter, just as long as you are familiar and/or a regular.
Well, I used to keep my eyes on this one Chinese guy. He dressed very nicely in a suit...had slicked back hair (was either a businessman or a gangster) and carried WADS of money. I never saw him lose. I used to get behind him to read his racing form if he flashed it. I mean this guy went to the $100 tote window and picked up stacks of money.
After a while, he became aware of me. He would really hide his racing form from me and it was really uncomfortable. I finally got to the point where I could ask him a couple questions and he would tell me what to do...and I made money every time, but that was close as it got.
I actually had status at Long Acres in Seattle. I had it made. I would drive through the toll booth for free (I had a special pass) and then about 20 feet more and then the parking attendants would lift up the rope for me and I would park my car in the very first lot with the officials and owners. All of the other people would drive half way to Oregon to get a parking place. I always offered the guys food and lemonade or tea for the next week, but they wouldn't take it. The parking attendants would give me their employee passes and I would carry money in for them for certain races. They would give me all of the tips from the jockeys that they talked to. Everything was free for me...drinks..you name it, except the races. It was a good time. My dad used to say, "That is the only place that a guy goes to make an ass out of himself, chasing a horse's ass and loving it."
Anyway...it was fun...DAMN! The stories never end, sportsfans! Do I qualify for Nurtisystem?
