When I say everyone knew SIRI would lose subs, I didn't mean to the tune of 400k necessarily, but with retail biz in the dumper generally and just about every company reporting negative sales trends (other than walmart), I didn't think sub loss would be a shock. It's widely known that S-XM subs are directly linked to the auto industry, so only morons would not expect significant sub loss. I'm still not convinced that sub loss was the sole cause of the SP drop. It contributed for sure though.

Trip, I've been their with you optimistically for a few days, but 0 confidence that this stock will not do anything, but go further backwards after the reaction today and the fact that the market will likely get wallopped in the next few weeks. The cracks started today, so at least the low .30's is likely in the cards in my view.

free cash flow -3MM versus -311MM has to be a good thing, yes?

Maybe someone can find the actual numbers, but wasn't there dissapointing news regarding the advertising department costs being down or something?? dunno.. but this is interesting way of cost cutting and can pay off big if its aimed at the 3.6 million trial subscriptions...yes you know it.

I certainly hope you are not correct about low 30's . If it doesn't do it in the next 2 days I personally dont think we will see low 30's(look at the 50 mda) but maybe high 30's is more possible. Although I dont even think that is so.

If you think we will fall through the 50 mda then all bets are off. That will be a sad day.

1) millions of ipod touches and millions of iphones and a certain app coming out soon.

2) FCF (3,600)

3) EBITDA up to $350 projected, $50MM increase.

4) SAC something good probably

5) Bunch of stuff that you already know....

Why there is a delay in releasing iPhone application?

Should be out as early as possible. This should contribute at least some positive numbers for Q2.

Im sure they are waiting to release in end of June on the day they release new iphone. Apple likes to announce their cool stuff all at once with fanfare.

I do not think that this should be the reason.

great show today tyler, specially liked the part that guy from texas called in, he should really get his own show on sirius, maybe he shouldnt get stern money, but mad dog money fo sure.

I dont know why people think Apple has anything to do with this application. Apple simply makes 3rd party apps available via their store and take their cut of the rev... that's it. You guys can save all your apple/sirius conspiracy theories, they simply are not true.

If Apple can sell 500 million apps in 6 months, how much do you think they care about 1-2million more? At this point they have probably already sold a billion and another 500 million before the Sirius XM app is even released. They aren't playing favorites they are working on volume.

The 1 billionth app was downloaded about 10 days ago. Ran a big promotion, gave away prizes, drove traffic to download more and more apps via the App Store on Apple's website.

You know, promotions. Something that works for media companies (in general) yet is sorely lacking at my beloved Sirius/XM.

Along with any semblance of talent in the PR department.
