Some Democrats worry that backlash from an impeachment could cost them their majority in the House. Some Republicans worry that an impeachment could cost them their majority in the Senate. Who knows? By the way, all three US Presidents who have been impeached or were facing impeachment – Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton – won the popular vote. Trump lost the popular vote. That could be a factor in the "backlash."

Emperor Trump sees Joe Biden as his biggest threat in 2020 so naturally Emperor Trump will ruthlessly attack Biden from now until November 3, 2020 – and probably for many years thereafter.
Biden: Trump has 'indicted himself by his own statements'
CNN, Oct 4 2019 5:23 PM ET
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden reacted to President Trump's recent comments regarding him and his son Hunter's alleged overseas dealings. "He's indicted himself by his own statements. This is not about me. It's not about my son," Biden said while speaking today at an SEIU forum in Los Angeles. Some context: Trump has repeatedly claimed that Hunter Biden has engaged in nefarious behavior overseas. "Biden is corrupt, his son is corrupt," Trump said today. "His son takes out billions of dollars, billions, and he has no experience. Trump has repeatedly accused both Bidens of corruption involving China and Ukraine. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by the Bidens.

Emperor Trump keeps changing his stories. He lies so frequently, he's unable to keep track of all of his lies. Today he claimed he's not interested in politics or Biden's campaign. He just wants to root out "corruption." He said he has every right to ask foreign leaders to investigate corruption. A reporter asked, "Have you asked any foreign leaders for corruption investigations that don't involve your political opponents?" Trump dodged the question. Apparently the answer is "No." Meanwhile, another Republican is speaking out:

Emperor Trump's blindly loyal lapdog Stephanie Grisham and Mike Pence's blindly loyal lapdog Katie Waldman today both made the same predictable comments, declaring Trump to be blameless and complaining about the "do-nothing Democrats" wasting time and wasting the taxpayers' money. How dare Democrats try to hold Trump accountable for his abuse of power, his obstruction of justice, his unConstitutional actions on immigration and his solicitation of foreign leaders to help him in the 2020 election! Emperor Trump is above the law. Don't they know that?

Today the Inspector General told Congress how he corroborated the whistleblower's complaint of Emperor Trump withholding military aid from Ukraine and demanding an investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden. Trump, who never ever admits to any wrongdoing, called the whistleblower a "spy" and suggested execution as a punishment. Congress could soon hear from a second whistleblower, one with more first-hand knowledge of Trump's traitorous transgressions.

"It's a coup!" Wrong. "The whistleblower is dishonest!" Wrong. "The whistleblower is a spy!" Wrong. "Schiff is guilty of treason!" Wrong. "There's a word-for-word transcript of my call!" Wrong. If we were to start a list of all the things Trump got right, the paper would remain blank.

Scaramucci is dismayed that 53 Republican Senators are refusing to speak out. Because Emperor Trump fired him ten days after appointing him, Scaramucci didn't have time to learn the Republicans' inviolable policy: "See no evil in Trump, hear no evil about Trump, speak no evil about Trump." Trump and the Republican party come first.
'The president is a traitor,' declares former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci
"I hear rank criminality. I hear pressure on diplomats coming from above to do things that are actually a revocation of the Constitution," the former aide says.

Romney is a "pompous ass" who "never knew how to win." The Emperor has spoken! Trump is viciously lashing out and everyone who dares to criticize him. Any and all Democrats, Republicans and news outlets who fail to show blind loyalty to Emperor Trump become targets of his rage and vitriol. Thanks to satellite broadcasting and the World Wide Web, the entire world is able to witness the Emperor's meltdown. Is America "great" yet?
