John Agree and disagree,Mel doesn't have to make a choice now..He is covering all age demographics with this APP..he has OEM for older wealthier ones and middle class and with this APP he has the corporate Who pay for alot of these phones and the younger demographic techies..
Bujy a car and get SATRAD,then get I-Phone or any smart phone and take it out of the car and walk around at the park whereever..then also you can take it into the house with Steroe or on-line feed, and don't forget DTV...
But the best is there vis no SAC or FREE promo bull crap with this new app, just take it or leave it and pay...No cost,or minimal
Johnny I said that in the last thread and has been my belief. That the Apple app was nothing more the a driver to the satellite platform and was ment for competition to Slackar/Pandora and the likes for the (younger crowd). That to most of those youths Stern is not a issue.
Found the problem. This is a work laptop, and iTunes is not installed. When I went on the home computer, it took me to the iTunes "browser". It's the number one top free app right now. That's good. But the wiplash from no Howard is pretty huge.
It will interesting to hear what Howard has to say Monday morning. I certainly hope it's not "I need more money".
Got to run,be back later tonight to answer any more ?'s
All I know is with the rate increase I am looking forward to the 3rd and 4th quarter. I have never felt better about where they are at. I dont even think I will sell any shares in a channel to be sure I dont lose out. It is going to be hard to predict how investors are going to take the 2nd quarter news (not to mention if the news its not to bad) with the 3rd quarter not being to far off.
Let's see. It has been up for over 24 hours now. The press has been all over SIRI about Stern not being on it. And yet, it is still the top free download. Perhaps all is not lost.
The sell-off yesterday was probably folks just taking profits from the spasm which just caused more selling as fear overtook greed. Notice, we are finding support again at $0.34 and were brought back down there again today after the PM bounce to $0.36
Everything seems just a little too controlled.
