2018 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominees

Finally! After being eligible since 1989, the Moody Blues have finally been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland. Among this year's other nominees are Kate Bush, Link Wray, Nina Simone, Sister Rosetta Sharpe, MC5, LL Cool J, Cars, Meters, Eurythmics, Bon Jovi, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, Zombies, J. The winners will be announced in December. The April 14 induction ceremony will be carried live on SiriusXM Channel 310. Good luck to the Moody Blues! For a few years after the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame started in 1986, they inducted around a dozen singers and groups every year. Now it's usually just five or six. They should go back to having 12 (or more) inductees every year because so many worthy artists are still not in.

I totally agree! Legendary groups shouldn't have to wait 30 or 40 years. One of the inductees in that first ceremony in 1986 was Fats Domino, who died last month at 89. Here is his induction, with Billy Joel doing the honors:
