Aquiring signal issue up north in the Yukon/Alaska?
I have a Stratus 6 Model SDSV6 and for reasons I do not want to contact Sirius.
It has a USA subscription but I am living in BC,Canada now.
I have a magnetic mount antenna but don't know the model etc.
The radio worked fairly good in central BC, Canada but recently I went on a road trip to the Yukon which is up near Alaska. The further north I traveled the worse the reception got until in Dawson City it pretty much doesn't work
except for the occasional blimp but mostly "Acquiring Signal".
Only have been getting one bar of signal the last few days before Dawson City.
I don't know what the problem is but suspect maybe receiving XM satellites instead if Sirius?
Like I said for reasons I don't want to explain I can't call Sirius for help so I am hoping someone in this
forum can help me or tell me what the issue is please? :confused:
