Can't find a certain song to save my life

I was driving home from Miami on 2/22/2015 and somewhere around 2pm - 4pm eastern standard time I heard a song that I liked. I can't really remember the lyrics, but the singer was male and I THINK they went something like "Stuck on the inside.." or "standing on the inside..." or something like that. The syllables match up, and he was kind of angrily singing into the mic without actually singing heavy metal. It was very chorus driven. I tried to search it but I can't find it whatsoever. Please help!
