How many wires come out of a ~2008 era XM antenna

I just bought a used 2008 Lexus GX 470 which has an XM antenna on the roof. The wire from the antenna is broken about 1" from the antenna itself. I'm wondering how many wires the insulated portion contains; one? More? I'd like to just solder it back together if at all possible.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'm fairly certain that its just one but, it has insulated shielding. You're better off running a new wire the whole way. Maybe open the antenna and make a fresh connection?

I think that that's a good idea. I may just replace the whole antenna all the way up to the receiver but want to make sure everything else is working before I invest in a new antenna.
