SiriusXM To Present At Conference
SiriusXM’s Jim Meyer, its Chief Executive Officer, is expected to speak at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2014 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference on Tuesday, September 16, at approximately 7:00 pm ET. The timing of this bodes well for the company, as it will be a very public place to speak to increased subscriber guidance and the fact that the company seems to be hitting on all cylinders.
SiriusXM’s subscriber picture was bolstered with very impressive August auto sales. The company seems to be capitalizing on a more streamlined process across both the new and used car segments and the numbers are beginning to stack up. So much so that the company raised its guidance immediately after the August sales were announced rather than waiting until the quarterly call.
Investors can listen to the presentation on the web by going to the Investor Relations section of the SiriusXM website.
Spencer,
The fact that the company had to update its net sub guidance after having been so tight lipped the entire Q speaks volumes. Q3 results may be so strong that I will not be surprised if they will have to update this number again in their Q3 financial results. Otherwise he is going to say as much as Maffei at the Godman Conference, that is virtually nothing. Actually, Maffei even sounded negative on siri a few times. Most likely and regretfully, listening to him at the BA Conference may be a waste of time.
