From September 15 to October 15, SiriusXM will join the rest of country in honoring American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America with musical performances, interviews, and specials by today's most celebrated Latin artists.
The celebration airing across the Latin channels will include SiriusXM's first artist-hosted show for bilingual listeners, Juanes: Fijate Bien, Sunday, September 23, on Caliente (ch.150), as well as a special 5 week series featuring music from some of salsa's all time greatest artists on Rumbon (ch. 533).
"Our special, wide-ranging Hispanic Heritage Month programming is proof that SiriusXM offers the most comprehensive Latin programming anywhere," said Trinity Colon, VP of Latin Music Programming.
Additional programming includes live performances from SiriusXM's New York studios featuring artists such as Prince Royce, Nelly Furtado, Jon Secada, Tito Nieves, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Cristian Castro, Arthur Hanlon as well as Calibre 50 and Lamento Show de Durango, sitting down for an exclusive interview and performance.
