You have to love this company and their timely announcements. Tomorrow they are going to announce that the merger was approved, followed by a hot off the press news flash of Liberty Media’s investment in Sirius/XM.
There is a reason that Sirius/XM is in the position it is, and why the stock is paralyzed. I offer this announcment as conclusive evidence!
That is one of the funniest comments I have ever seen! LOL!
Thanks a lot MUSCLE13. You have extremely good taste. Check out satwaves (Miley Cyrus article) if you want to hear how much some people think I suck. I appreciate your moral support!

This time they got it right! They put out a PR stating that it was coming…Then they had to wait for the FCC to approve it…Finally, they had to insure that they had product in the big box/online retailers before putting out PR! What did you want them to do…put out PR and have people not be able to buy one! Also, can you believe it…it is out before the holidays!!!
Steve O. Also the DOJ approved the merger………………
Oh and by the way. I hear Opray and Miley ordered their own Skydocs in “PinK”………………………………..lol
socal – the DOJ approved the merger!!! Are you shitting me? That fucking Mel is a genius! Gotta get me some more stock; this thing is gonna blast off now, baby!
I ALSO heard that Oprah and Miley ordered Skydocks in a gorqeous shade of girly girl pink. Oprah is going to use hers as a skewer for when she barbecues, and Miley is going to use hers as a vibrator for those lonely nights when the Jonas brothers have to go to bed early… and can’t climb into her hotel window. You have to love the versatility of this Skydock – something for everybody!
Been using my SkyDock (purchased from TSS-Radio) for a few days now. Very happy with its performance on an iPhone 3G. The SkyDock.app is stellar.
would love to FINALLY see some heavy tv ads and others for all the new receivers, including the SkyDock—think this will happen or just a few newspaper ads here and there?
I would be thrilled if thet sent messages with smoke signals, by Morse code, or even if they scrawled the Sirius/XM logo in the sand at the beach. Anything would be a drastic improvement at this point. I might write “Sirius Rocks” in the stall down at the mobile station mens room; that would be more effective advertising than what they are doing so far.
That might work since you get alot of Truckers taking a dump at gas stations !
sxminvestor – You are on fire!!! PS – there are also a lot of dumpy stations with truckers who have gas !
THEY ADVERTISED INSIDE THE WORLD SERIES! TIMELY WELL PLACED ADVER. WERE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF THE WORLD SERIES……….GO PHILLS!!!
And if you blinked… you would have missed it. They need a real commercial – not just subliminal flashing of the logo for a nano second. One decent commercial during this World Series – which has been a ratings bonanza from what I read – would have been a “home run”; pun intended. Sirius/XM needs to get out of the dugout, wander over to home plate, and swing for the fences. So far, the have been acting “bat”-ty, have had no balls, and are leaving a lot of subs stranded. If they would just sacrifice, and stop stealing from the subscribers, they might make better contact with their base – the 18 1/2 million loyal customers. We all know that Sirius/XM could be a star, but so far they are nothing more than a designated shitter. You can balk at what I am saying, but if this company expects people to “lineup” and sign up for the service, then they better field subscribers advice and suggestions before they get shutout.
you need your own show!!!!!!!!

NEWS FLASH !!! – Sirius/XM Radio today announced two blockbuster inventions that promise to be “game changers.” Rumors had been circulating for weeks amongst the millions of downtrodden, yet loyal fans of the service. At a press conference at Sirius/XM headquarters in New York City, satellite radio Czar Mel “we won’t raise the price” Karmazen confidently strode up to the podium to announce: 1. The invention of electricity! This will have far reaching affects on the future of the product, stated Mr. Karmazen. He noted, for instance, that in the unlikely event that somebody actually purchases a satellite radio….. the advent of this new sparkly, shocky, kind of buzzy electricity thing will help immensely in powering up the unit. 2. Not to be outdone, Karmazen than announced the second bombshell – the invention of the wheel! This is at least as big as the first announcement – Karmazen noting that with this really cool round thing… it will now be possible for the potential subscriber to drive to Best Buy and actually see the radios – and buy the radios. To facilitate a smooth transition, and to launch an as yet untested new company policy tentatively titled “customer care”, customers entering the Best Buy who are specifically there to look at satellite radios will be greeted by a Best Buy employee who is totally uninformed and not conversant with the product. However, as part of a shrewd new marketing strategy devised between Sirius/XM and Best Buy to help people find the hidden displays and two year old dust covered radios, prospective satellite radio customers will be given, free of charge, a compass… a detailed map of the store layout, and the services of an Indian Guide to assist in the long, exhausting excursion to the back of the store. Mr. Karmazen closed the press conference alluding to the possibility of more blockbuster announcements in the near future. Reputed to be in the works, by a source who spoke under the condition of anonimity, is something they would call, tentatively ,”The Not a Fake Merger.” Here’s how it would work; the two sevices would really and truely combine, have the same channels, have one simple price plan, one logo, one amazing content/programming lineup, and millions of happy, satisfied listeners. The source was quite adamant in emphasizing that this is pure speculation, and would probably never see the light of day.
SIRIUS BUZZ NO LONGER RELEVANT!!
you’re in good company then…..
where’s boo boo kitty? stocks on the rise today.
Karmazin,Karmazin, Karmazin. Not Karmazen. Gets me every time. Damn!
