I have made it a point to do myself a favor and not cover every little thing surrounding the Sirius XM merger but, I figure it’s about time I talked about the NAB and their position on the issue. A position that is smashed by simple, are you smarter than a 5th grader, logic.

As far as I can see, there are only two possible scenarios here, either Satellite Radio competes with Terrestrial Radio or they don’t. If Satellite does in fact compete with Terrestrial then it seems obvious to me that the proposed merger can not be a monopoly. On the other hand if Satellite does not compete then why in the hell would the guys over at Terrestrial Radio be spending so much time and effort combating it?
