I cancelled my subscription today. I tried to make it through 3 of the newly formatted shows and just could not do it. The fact that he now takes a commercial break every 15 minutes and that the show is done as a morning show makes me cringe. The news stories are dated by the time we hear them and it just sounds like a bunch of dudes sitting in church bullshitting. I’m out when it comes to satellite radio and I will never be back. Fuck this place it’s bullshit I’m outta hear is the story of my satellite radio days……

ya it sucks that everynow and then it might be a watered down show or w/e, we all paid for uncensored material, but i dont see a lot of canceled subs over bubba if for some stupid reason there is. ya this sucks but sat radio even with a censored show has a lot of programming for 12.99 in my opinion it should be a lot higher for the quality programming besides the censoring bubba (becuase hes so damn good right) <

Hey, Don’t worry. Bubba can always go to the competition. If Sirius doesn’t want to play ball, then he can always go to XM and take his subscribers with him…. Oh! Yeah! I forgot. There is no longer XM or a suitable competitor for Sirius XM, because there is only ONE SDARS service. The merger that everyone here opined for, and received, closed that option.

But that can’t be right.. After all.. Everyone pointed out the countless options to SDARS.

Like….
IPOD’s,
Internet Radio,
Terrestrial Radio,
HD Radio.

Maybe you guys can get Bubba uncensored Live in your car everyday on your IPOD, or Terrestrial Radio, or Internet Radio??? But, then again.. Maybe not. Oh! Well… Too Bad!!!

Well, this merger thing is certainly working out to be a great thing for the public interests. Remember what they promised you.. Greater choices, and Lower Costs. Hope everyone that opined in favor of the merger is happy… Because, you got exactly what you deserve.

“No More Bullshit” my ass!!

Bubba, Stern, Greenstein and Sabien screwed over loyal listeners royally on this on. SIRI did not disclose terms because they knew that people would cancel in mass right before year end and screw with their numbers.

I have been listening to Stern for over 15 years and the fact that he did not disclose this first thing this morning totally reeks. I could not believe my ears when I heard this BS this afternoon.

I spend 40 hours a week commuting and I am pretty close to canceling due to this screw job!

I am not a fan, and really don’t care. Maybe, he was just asking way to much for his raw feed. With the situation at Sirius Xm (fianancials) it really would be totally iresponsible of Mel to sign him for tons of money. However, at this point, you have to wonder if airing his “cooked” show benefits Sirius Xm at all. ( I doubt it!)

I was just ranting and raving today about rap channel 40 being censored. Just thinking about it now digusts me.
If this new info is true, and they are trying to serve us more censored garbage..well I don’t know what to say.
I am an invester also, but I was a listener first…I have come to terms with my money invested in this company, if the pps goes up, great. But if they take away the uncensored, unapologetic, real, raw, music and talk that I originally subscribed for…then I will be crushed.
The first censored song I heard on channel 40 brought a feeling of embarassment over me. Embarassment for recommending this “awesome experience” to so many people. If this is true..then what do we have left?
There is no such thing as a little censorship in my opinion.

Really? 5 days in and you can think of a bigger mistake? They are playing censored non unique content on a service that people pay for. You think that is good for business? You think this is going to be good PR? Give the call center a call and talk to them about how many calls they are getting. I did and they are going out of their way to lie and soften the blow.

He is actually expanding into more terrestrial markets… as of today. So, he must be doing something right.

This has nothing to do with my love for the show. They are setting a horrible precedent and have made a very poor business decision for the company.

If they paid $1 that was $1 to much IMO. If these were the terms, I would have left them at the table. I would rather not have this censored regurgitated terrestrial replay on Sirius XM at all. Dump the show all together.
