The $20 to $25 million referred to by Directed is not money they will recieve from Sirius, but rather money they will be able to free up as a result of the deal with Sirius.

Inventory is only a small part of the capital involved in a distribution agreement. I fully anticipate New Age to be the player that buys out the inventory.

Am i reading this wrong or is it a contradiction?

To be clear, this is not money that Sirius XM will pay to Directed, but rather the monies that Directed has tied up in being a distributor for satellite radio products.

In the Directed Electronics announcement, they stated, “The agreement specifies that SIRIUS or its new distribution partner will purchase substantially all remaining satellite radio receiver inventory from Directed in the first quarter of 2009.
