Why not call the article “No Bonus For Stern” and then actually write about that instead?

Again this is a nothing press release that just reminds people that Stern is still at Sirius. They will run another one next year.

While Stern starting his third year is not real news, the fact that there has been no bonus this year is something I feel is important.

Had Stern received another 22,000,000 shares, you can believe it would generate a ton of buzz.

In the past these bonuses have caused a sell-off. Interestingly, no bonus was announced and we are still suffering a sell off. I would hate to see what happened if shares were issued!
