I am going to give everyone on my list an XM or Sirius reciever, prepaid 1 year subscription, as well as 100 shares of Sirius XM. They can have a year full of pleasure with the radio and a year full of pain with the stock… suckers.

These are all good ideas. However, after waiting for the DOJ, then the FCC, and now waiting on Mel & Co. to pull a rabbit (or better yet, a good financing deal) from their hat, I’d offer booze as a gift. Sure a warm toddy on a cold night is nice; but, for those sleepless or tense moments, how but a good old fashioned shot? Sorta kidding here. Anyway, best to all during these trying times.

I would add one more gift idea: Donate to charity…a charity called End the Plight of SiriusXM. Just tell your loved one that $50 was donated in their name to help a penniless, malnourished company.
