A New Sirius Kenwood Sirius in Dash Receiver

Does Kenwood still make Sirius ready in dash receivers? I would like to buy a new one, but it's hard to tell since the writeups say the are Sirius XM ready, and not just "Sirius".

i was told by the radio shop it was best to get a Kenwood, because there ports never change and i should be able to upgrade to a new radio down the line and plug my existing Sirius device into it. I have a lifetime subscription.

The Sirius product that has lifetime on it was one of the first to be manufactured that had the ability to get "Best of XM" on it. I got this in December of 2008.

The key to decipher the riddle of Sirius vs XM with any head unit is to look at what components the receiver is compatible with. Often times a description of the item will tell you what brain or "tuner" you'll need to get satellite and then you look at what servie that turner is for.

    Hope this helps.
