I saw that too. Pay no attention to analysts - you'd do better guessing by throwing at a dartboard!

Something weird is going on with Yahoo's 1yr target estimate. It was .35 yesterday and now it's at .10. If you look at the breakdown in the ANALyst opinion section though, it only lists one opinion. Is there only one analyst that has a 1yr target estimate? What analyst has the .10 target? What a complete joke......

    False Alarm!!!

No, No, No! ...just a false alarm. Nasdaq uses 2 Thomson/Reuters analysts. One had a high target of $0.60 and the other was $0.10. The high target analyst just removed his target for re-evaluation after the 10-K was issued. He will be issuing a new target soon. The $0.10 target is just the one analyst who hasn't updated in over a year. Yahoo uses the same service. See, one broker:

The other broker is updating his price right now. So, RELAX!

P.S. The $0.35 target was the median between 10 and 60 cents.

If the one analyst hasn't updated in a year - is it fair for reuters/thompson to use the median which includes a WAY outdated view point??

how much does an analyst make per year? Has to be a gravy job. Only job I see with less pressure and accountability is CEO of Sirius.
My 1 year target for Siri is 25.00 (I know it's BS but so what?)(makes me feel good)
