First it was the merger, then debt, now R/S

I've been in Sirius for 4 years now, and stuck in it for about 3.

First it was the insane 18 month merger delay that ended in the anti climactic "ugly" deal that felt like a sucker punch to the solar plexus with a sickening drop instead of the "pop" we all expected.

Second was the debt issue. For months we were on edge up until the final hour when Mel signed the deal with Liberty.

And NOW? Now it's the fear of a Reverse Split. Not because of delisting....but rather to reduce the float. This is my new fear. How will the price ever rise without one? It's the main thing keeping me from aggressively averaging down while we are still low.

This is the dilemma that we are in now. I tell you, it has been CONSTANT....NON STOP....NEVER ENDING pain and anxiety with this stock. As soon as we clear one hurdle...another pops up without fail.

    When will it end? Argh.

My sentiments exactly. Look what's happening now - a slow retreat to single digits. Let's face reality. This stock is going to be suck wind until Sirius can make some money. The players played and won, and those of us who went long because we love the product will have to struggle to regain a portion of our investment if we regain any at all. I don't believe in miracles. This stock won't see $1 in 2009 or maybe even 2010 even if there is a RS. The only thing that will keep a RS high is if Sirius is making money.

There is no bright side short term.

It will end when the company posts full-year EBITDA positive results and begins to retire some of the debt. More dips and curves to come . . . just close your eyes and stay long to the finish.

I agree - nothings changed. Debt remains, at a higher interest rate. Management has avoided BK and has the opportunity become profitable, but there's also a dilution factor. Only profits can help.....i'm hoping near term there's some cash left and some creative way to incorporate into this deal.....
