Right on APEX...I can hold out for 5 yrs til it goes above 8.00..but honestly when it reaches 4-5.00 i will sell my 11,100 shares avg in at .97. still a nice score for few years.

If I kept the $10,000 in the bank would only get about $1,200 in interest @2%.

They bash siri to piss us off and get clicks...wait til monday they will bash even great news from mel's cc.

Why do they even write about a .26 stock other than to get reactions...they like to taunt...he is worse than mark weible.

Demian usually gives it right back to motley with his comments everytime they write any articles. He reminds them of their recommending XM at 30.00. that should help other readers see that the motley fool has no credibility at all.

    Demian...
do you think the fool will cover the stock when it goes over 3-4.00 a share no matter how long it takes?

    APEX

If the next several Q's can be profitable IMO the pps could easily go over 3.00...just a matter of being patient and time is of the essence to prove its value.

    Great news.....

    Folks,

In your collective opinions, does today's news (and hopefully Monday's more concise news), effectively rule out the possibility of a BK? Do you all think that this news has all but guaranteed SIRI with a great chance of debt refinancing at decent rates??

I'm griining like a dog with two di*ks right now!!

i think bk is much out of the picture only because of recent converts who could have taken money but instead took stock shares. That was a good sign.

    Thanks....

Siriushope.....much appreciated and thanks for confirming my hopes (maybe all of our hopes). Another question if you don't mind: If BK is out of the question and for those who have been fortunate enough to buy in at a relatively salvageable price (i.e. less than a .90 avg), is there any reason that it wouldn't be wise to keep buying at these prices if optomism abounds for the future? I am for some reason trying to convince myself not buy more, when it seems that this is the right time.....

I would love to hear your thoughts,

It may be the other way around. Rather than positions being taken, I believe shorts are covering before the CC. Too many bad things (good things for us) can happen between now and Monday. I bought more yesterday at .271 and today at .28 for just this reason.

Of course, we both may be correct. I expect (hope for) a nice bounce tomorrow.

    WHYNOT...

This is what i did ...and its up to you...don't go against your gut feelings or follow anyones lead. YOU MUST DECIDE...

i sold last week 7600 @.36 and bought back 11,100 @ .28 & .30 for the same amount invested therefore increasing share amount not value.

maybe if it goes up to .40 i will sell off again and wait for it to drop into the low 20’s again. will see after monday - wednesday what pps levels are.

seems this is the only way to build up share amount w/o losing additional value until it really pops in 2009.

at least now with avg pps at .97 i have a chance to break even sooner than later.

I am retired with a decent pension but i do work part time 2 days a week and use that money to gamble and add shares of siri.

Living in las vegas it beats going to the casinos.

    Thanks again gents......

    Keysmark/Siriushope,

I appreciate your advice (though I know it's not advice ). I'm in a different spot in life, in my early 30's, but I make nice living and my wife does as well.

Aside from my regular monthly investment contributions, I always set aside some extra monthly cash for speculative buys/good values and I think that considering recent news and your valuable insights, I will make that contribution towards some more SIRI shares.

    Again, much appreciated.
