Tyler No longer Posts Articles Here First?

    I wonder why.

I read three articles this am on Yahoo's SIRI page that were linked back to "Seeking Alpha". They are still not posted on SiriusBuzz.

I remember not too long ago Tyler telling us that all his articles would be posted here first and asking us to read his article here to increase his hit count.

I guess we are not needed any more.

    You arenot correct.

The articles ALWAYS appear here first. Seeking Alpha pulls my articles from THIS SITE. I do not submit them.

Seeking Alpha will change the title of the articles, and sometimes make minor edits of the content, but they get the articles from here. If I do not publish the article here, there is no way for Seeking Alpha to get it.

If you read the articles on Seeking Alpha you will note that they were published today on that site. They were written and published YESTERDAY on SiriusBuzz.

Read here, then there, and you will see that SiriusBuzz is where i publish my articles first.

    articles

Note the three articles you refer to:

"Shareholder Suit Filed Against Sirius XM Radio" was published on November 3, 2008 at 3:26PM

    http://siriusbuzz.com/shareholder-su...s-xm-radio.php

Seeking Alpha titled the article, "Sirius XM Radio Faces Shareholder Suit" and published it on November 4, 2008.

    http://seekingalpha.com/article/1038...areholder-suit

    They are the same article

"Auto Sales Nosedive" was published here on siriusBuzz on November 3, 2008 at 3:50 PM

    http://siriusbuzz.com/auto-sales-nosedive.php

Seeking Alha posted "Auito Sales Drop Could Have Bad Impact On Satellite Radio" on November 4th.

    http://seekingalpha.com/article/1038...atellite-radio

    They are the same article

I published "Merrill Notes That The Wheels Have Come Off" on November 3rd at 7:47 PM

    http://siriusbuzz.com/merrill-notes-...e-come-off.php

Seeking Alpha Published, "Analysts See Weak Auto Sales As Real Challenge For Sirius XM" on November 4th.

    http://seekingalpha.com/article/1038...-for-sirius-xm

    The articles are the same.

As stated, Seeking Alpha gets their articles AFTER they are published here. This site will always be the first place where articles are published. Seeking Alpha does often change the title of my articles, and this is something I do not control.

    I hope this clarifies things

    Tyler,

Since you are the author of the articles, how can they change the title or content of your work without your permission? It would be easier for the articles to be tracked back to SiriusBuzz if they had the same title. That's why they want to change the article's titles - so they can pass it off as being unique content to their site. I don't know what your arrangement is with Seeking Alpha, but I don't see the benefit to you or SiriusBuzz in letting them change your article's titles or content....

In most cases, writers of articles never write their own headlines. The benefit of allowing Seeking Alpha to use this sites content is an issue we here at SiriusBuzz have been debating about for quite some time.

They get a big benefit by having a deal with Yahoo and others. This site, in theory, gets exposure. However, in the satellite radio sector, most investors are already aware of this site.

It does sometimes bring about confusion because the articles have different headlines, and that can be frustrating.

There are many sites that pull stories from SiriusBuzz. It does make it challenging to keep traffic here, but that comes with the territory.
