I have seen no less then a dozen updates come through my sportster over the last couple of months. I am willing to bet that these are not all lineup changes. What gives? What is SiriusXM doing? Any theories out there?

And? So what?
J56D you cant compare my post, which was a thought and opinion, to your link with no explination. Have you really been waiting two weeks to post that?
I had another update on the way home from work today after I made this post. I originally made this post because I noticed an update on the way to work. This is the second time I have seen two updates in one day. I am pretty familiar with all the channel changes and lineup changes and there have been more updates then changes. I am not sure what they are doing but they are certainly playing around with the technology much more post merger. I guess we can only speculate but I would love to see someone "in the know" anonymously post something to let us know what is going on.

That is certainly something of interest. Keep us posted.
All jokes aside... I am seeing it as well. I can only wonder as my unit never prompts as to why there was an update. You would think that they would use the scroll to say something along the lines of "new scary Halloween channel added" or even better "you can now get the best of XM on your unit".

Talking behind my back again.
I have the Sportster 5 and have not had an update in over a month. I wonder if the older models are being updated to support the new content?
