Ya wants numbers? I gots numbers! Here are the latest COVID-19 mortality rates, updated March 30. The death rate is 11.39% in Italy, 10.87% in San Marino and 10.2% in Bangladesh. In the United States, it's 1.8%. It's 3.6% among people age 60-69, 8% among people age 70-79 and 14.8% among people 80 and older. Globally, the mortality rate is 3.8%.

Maryland Republican Governor Larry Hogan today rejected President Donald Trump's claim that there is no longer a shortage of coronavirus tests, calling the assertion "just not true" and warning that no state has enough tests. Hogan, who issued a statewide stay-at-home order yesterday, told NPR's Morning Edition that the country's governors have made some progress in working with the federal government to obtain additional medical supplies but more is needed.

On the very, very long list of despicable things Trump has said and done, this one moves to the top. The man has not a shred of decency."
