CNN's Phil Mudd said he "hated" Emperor Trump's 4th Of July speech because it focused on the military rather than American ideals.

CNN political correspondent Barbara Starr said military service is "not a reality TV show."

And Emperor Trump's costly spectacle (which used $2.5 million of money that was meant for the National Park Service) is reminiscent of the military parades that take place in China, Russia and North Korea. The only difference is that none of the spectators in China, Russia and North Korea is wearing one of Trump's goofy red "Make America Great Again" caps.

Letter from Doris Reed of Palm Desert in today's Los Angeles Times:

"Trump's squandering of millions of dollars to honor himself on July 4 once again demonstrated that he is more concerned about the state of his ego rather than the state of the union. He is a man whose only concern is feeding the bottomless pit of his narcissism at all costs, much to the detriment of our nation. From Day One of his Presidency, Trump's actions have been driven by self-servitude, greed and the abusive use of authority. The only thing worse than the ineffectiveness of Trump's leadership is the American people whose silence condones and supports his ineptitude."

    Amen!

CNN political analyst Raul Reyes notes that Trump's idea of delaying the census so a citizenship question can be added would be costly, would lead to errors and would violate the US Code which stipulates when and how the decennial census is to be conducted.

Reyes writes: "Trump has shown himself to be ignorant of what is at stake here. 'I think it's very important to find out if somebody is a citizen as opposed to an illegal,' he said on Monday. 'There's a big difference to me between being a citizen of the United States and being an illegal.' In fact, the proposed citizenship question on the census does not inquire about immigration status. It only asks if a person is a US citizen. A person who answered 'no' is not necessarily an undocumented immigrant; he or she could be a green card holder or a foreign national on a work or student visa. How telling it is that Trump apparently equates all non-US citizens present in the country as 'illegal.'"

Robert Foster claimed he promised his wife he would never be alone with another woman. Maybe that is so – but he still snubbed a reporter for the Mississippi Today news site. If he wants to govern a state with a population of 2,990,000, he will need the support of female voters. Good luck with that!

Remember when Republicans wete fiscally conservative? That was during the years 1854 to 2016 B.T. (Before Trump.) Oh, by the way, the banks, big corporations and wealthiest Americans want to tell Trump, "Thanks again for the huge tax cuts!"

Nathan Bedford Forrest was a cotton plantation owner and slave trader. As a Confederate general during the Civil War, he led a massacre of 300 Union soldiers who had surrendered. The majority were black. In 1867, Bedford became the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. One Republican Governor apparently agrees with the President that white nationalists and neo-Nazis are "very fine people."

Some people insist Trump doesn't hate immigrants, just illegal immigrants. I believe Trump hates all immigrants, be they legal or illegal – with the exception of his wife Melania and his grandparents Friedrich and Elisabeth. Case in point:

Emperor Trump called four Democratic Congresswomen "racist," accused them of hating America and said they should "go back" to where they came from. All four of those Congresswomen are United States citizens and only one was born outside the United States. All four are also women of color and are highly critical of Emperor Trump. He hates that. How dare anyone criticize the Emperor! Members of both parties are denouncing Trump's nasty, hateful comments. Susan Collins said his comments went "way over the line." Kamala Harris called them "very racist and very un-American." Nancy Pelosi said Trump's "disgraceful language" went beyond Trump's own "low standards." Trump will not apologize, though. He doesn't apologize for anything. Never has, never will.

Anderson Cooper opened his CNN program tonight by asking who Donald Trump is. Trump called Mexicans "rapists" and "drug dealers." Trump called Muslims "terrorists." Trump called Indiana-born Judge Gonzalo Curiel a "Mexican." Trump told four non-white Congresswomen, three of whom were born in the United States, to go back to where they came from. It's too easy, Cooper stated, to call Trump a racist (which indeed he is). Cooper said Trump is also a demagogue, as defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary: "A leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power."

Trump is indeed a demagogue. What is especially alarming is that his demagoguery is so effective in securing the unquestioning support and blind loyalty of his base.

Our immigrant-hating Emperor wants to ensure undocumented immigrants are under-counted in the Census, thereby causing Democratic-leaning states with a lot of immigrants to lose a portion their federal funding and possibly lose some Congressional representatives. How dare Judge Furman rule against Emperor Trump! Off with his head!
