Emperor Trump justifies his assassination of Qassem Soleimani by insisting Iran was planning to attack four US embassies. He has provided no evidence. Not even the Secretary of Defense has seen any evidence but, being a blindly loyal Republican, he takes Trump at his word. By killing a top Iranian general, Trump has made it much more likely that our embassies will be attacked. He should have thought of that – but, unfortunately, thinking does not come easy for him.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper says he 'didn't see' specific evidence showing Iranian threat to 4 US embassies

If any American military personnel in Iraq are killed, their blood will be on Emperor Trump's hands. Trump is much too erratic, much too impulsive and much too dangerous to serve as President.

Four wounded in attack on Iraqi military base that houses US forces

Four people were wounded today in an attack on Balad air base in northern Iraq which houses US personnel. The Iraqi military said in a statement that eight Katyusha rockets had been fired at the base, about 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad and that the four wounded included two officers. Military sources identified the wounded as Iraqi soldiers and said seven mortar bombs had hit the base's runway. The statement did not identify who was behind the attack.

He will never admit it but Emperor Trump's goal seems to be to "Make Everyone Hate America."

The orange-skinned Tweeter-in-Chief is in his usual fine form today, spewing false accusations, misspelling words – attacks were "eminent"? Really? – and once again chanting his tired old "fake news," "impeachment hoax," "witch hunt" and "Do Nothing Democrats" mantras. Donald Trump is immature and emotionally unstable and is a a total disgrace to the office of the Presidency.

"Look, I don't care what the fake news and the do-nothing Democrats say, okay? I have a very clear strategy, okay? I am opposed to all the costly foreign wars that other Presidents have started. I just like to start my own wars, okay? Their wars are bad and my wars are good. It's really quite simple."

British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab calls Trump's assassination of Soleimani a "dangerous escalation" that risks a conflict in which "terrorists would be the only winners." But, hey, as long as launching a war helps Trump win re-election, it's all good, right?

Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told The Sunday Times that the UK is looking to forge stronger alliances with other international partners that share its priorities.

The minimum age to serve as President of the United States is 35. It's too bad there isn't also a requirement that the President be mature. With his steady stream of lies, insults, accusations, name calling and nasty tweets, Trump acts like a ten-year-old spoiled brat.

In the past two weeks, Emperor Trump has told four different stories about why he felt justified in ordering the assassination of another country's military leader. One reason, which we now know was completely false, is that attacks on four US embassies were "imminent." Nobody in the Defense Department knew about it. Nobody in the Intelligence Department knew about it. No security officials knew about it. Nobody knew about it other than Trump. And how did Trump know about it? He made it up – and then believed his delusion to be true. Today we have a fifth story. Memo to Barr and Pompeo: Carrying out an assassination is not a "deterrent."

Even though Puerto Rico was hard hit by hurricanes in 2017 and several large earthquakes and aftershocks in recent weeks, Emperor Trump is withholding Congressionally-approved disaster relief. An anonymous HUD official said Trump is concerned about "corruption." Yeah, sounds just like the Ukraine situation, doesn't it? If Trump was really concerned with corruption, he would resign from office.

I continue to wonder why any woman would want to vote for a Republican. Republicans seem to have absolutely no respect for women. The President who bragged about being able to sexually abuse women because he's a "star" is the prime example. Pete Lucido is another example.
