Now that King Donald the First knows he is above the law and above the Constitution and is free to do whatever he wants without any accountability or Congressional oversight, we can expect his flagrant abuses of power to increase dramatically. King Donald will elevate his lackeys and sycophants to executive positions, fire any officials who dare to question him or criticize him, continue to savagely attack Democrats and the news media, continue to spew slander and false accusations against his political opponents, continue to use American assets for personal gain and, to whatever extent he is able to do so, force all three branches of government to do his bidding. Congressional Republicans have destroyed our federal republic and given us an unrestrained, all-powerful, self-serving King. February 5, 2020: The day America died.

Crooked, corrupt, dishonest King Donald the First has been busy defending crooked, corrupt, dishonest Roger Stone. In his rants, King Donald also attacked "Crooked Hillary," "the Mueller scam" and "rogue prosecutors." Off with their heads!

Congressional Republicans, all of whom have sold their souls to Donald Trump, see absolutely nothing wrong with King Donald interfering with the sentencing of former campaign chairman Roger Stone. Democrats see plenty wrong. Chuck Schumer said Trump is using the Justice Department as his"personal law firm" and Richard Blumenthal is calling for Attorney General William Barr to resign. Of course we now live in an autocracy. Justice is whatever King Donald the First says it is.

Senate Republicans, all of whom have sold their souls to Donald Trump, knew they would be creating a monster when they voted to acquit him on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of justice. They knew they would be creating a power-mad, self-serving King who is above the law and above the Constitution, free to do whatever he wants, answerable to no one and accountable to no one – but, hey, he's a Republican, so it's all right.

King Donald the First is expected to veto this measure. Nobody tells the King what he can and can't do. Nobody!

Senate votes to limit war with Iran
    HuffPost US, Feb 13 2020 2:52 PM

More than one month after President Donald Trump ordered a missile strike that resulted in the death of a top Iranian general, the Senate today passed a measure that would limit him from engaging in further hostilities against the country without first getting approval from Congress. Eight Republicans joined all Democrats and Independents in voting to advance a resolution from Senator Tim Kaine that would end "hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any part of its government or military" unless explicitly authorized. It required only a simple majority to clear the chamber.

Here is an idea: William Barr can resign and Donald Trump can serve as both King and Attorney General. This makes sense because King Donald believes the Department of Justice exists to serve him and only him.

Barr's "approach to criminal justice" is very simple: Democrats, poor people and minorities are severely punished for every little infraction while wealthy white Republicans get off scot-free. King Donald the First wants it that way.

King Donald the First has spent three years insisting there's a "Deep State" conspiracy working to undermine his Presidency. He has claimed, with absolutely no evidence, that "Crooked Hillary, Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Shifty Schiff, Steele" and even Robert Mueller are part of the "Deep State." It turns out there is no "deep state." King Donald the First has deep delusions, deep derangement and deep paranoia.

Trump's 'Deep State' conspiracy theory just took a big hit
The DOJ's refusal to prosecute former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe undermines the President's go-to theory about the 2016 election.

Under the autocracy of King Donald the First, the Department of Justice exists solely to do the King's bidding and the Attorney General acts as the King's personal attorney. Any questions?

King Donald the First claims Article II of the Constitution gives him the power to do anything he wants. Senate Republicans, all of whom have sold their souls to Donald Trump, voted to acquit him on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, thereby ensuring that he is above the law and above the Constitution and can indeed do whatever he wants. That includes interfering with the Department of Justice and the FBI – something he has done repeatedly, although he lies and says he hasn't.
