Spano admitted he made "mistakes" but insists they were "inadvertent" and "unintentional." Yeah, yeah, sure.

Emperor Trump, who obviously believes Louisianans lack the intelligence to decide who to vote for, had been urging Louisiana voters to vote for the Republican candidate and not the "far-left Governor" who is one of the "corrupt Democrats" – but an ever-increasing number of Americans no longer heed the advice of our crooked, corrupt, lying, cheating, self-serving, Russia-loving Emperor.

The Republican party has become pretty much irrelevant in California. Democrats control the Senate and Assembly and the Governor is a Democrat. This year, for the first time in state history, the number of voters registered as "no party preference" is greater than the number of registered Republicans. Donald Trump has corrupted and destroyed the Republican party and, judging by the outcomes of the 2018 midterms and this year's gubernatorial races, it appears to be on the road to irrelevancy in other states.

Analysis: Why Republicans lost another deep-red state
A second gubernatorial win, this time in Louisiana, is another demonstration of the limits of Trump's appeal.

Papadopoulos, the former Trump campaign aide who served time in prison for lying to Congress during the Russia investigation, is running for the seat vacated by Democrat Katie Hill. He says California needs a candidate who "supports the President." No, George, we really don't. We especially don't need someone who is willing to lie to protect him.

Under the direction of Vladimir Putin, Russian trolls created thousands of fake accounts on Facebook, Google and other social media sites and spread pro-Trump, anti-Clinton propaganda during the 2016 Presidential campaigns. They also hacked a DNC server and gave stolen emails to WikiLeaks. "Putin says he didn't meddle and I believe him," declared Donald Trump, who instead believes Ukraine, not Russia, meddled in our election. That is the story pushed by Russia and it is completely false. The Mueller investigation and every United States intelligence agency thoroughly documented Russia's election meddling. One Republican Senator is every bit as ignorant and delusional as Trump. He says he doesn't know if it was Russia or Ukraine that meddled in our election. What's more, he says, nobody knows. Wow.

A Republican Senator just completely denied the reality of 2016 election meddling

Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear, a Democrat, defeated Republican incumbent Matt Bevin in the state's November 5 Gubernatorial election. Bevin refused to concede. He claimed there were "irregularities": Voters were "illegally turned away," voting machines were not working properly and thousands of absentee ballots were illegally counted – whatever that means. Of course none of that was true. On November 14, Bevin finally conceded defeat. Beshear will be sworn in on December 10. Here is what Bevin chose to do as one of his last official acts as Governor:

Matt Shea, the Mayor of Spokane Valley, is an anti-gay, anti-black, anti-Muslim, conspiracy-theory-spreading white nationalist. In other words, a typical Republican.

Omar, a Democratic Representative of Minnesota, points out – accurately – that the Republicans' campaign strategy is "threats, disinformation and smears against their opponents." In March, Trump supporter Patrick Carlineo called Omar a "radical Muslim" and threatend to shoot her. In July, Emperor Trump told her to go back where she came from and led his blindly loyal supporters in a chant of "Send her back!" (Omar was born in Somalia and became an American citizen in 2000.) Danielle Stella suggested Omar be tried for treason and hanged. At least we know Trump's "Make America Hate Again" program is a roaring success.

Mike Pitts hates blacks, hates Muslims, hates immigrants, hates transgender people and defends the Confederate flag. Now he's a judge. And of course he's a Republican.

He defended the Confederate flag and insulted immigrants. Now he's a South Carolina judge.

"He's demeaning me and my career," Page complained. "It's sickening." She is hardly alone. Donald Trump demeans blacks, women, Muslims, Mexicans, Democrats, immigrants, asylum seekers, judges, reporters, intelligence agents, climate scientists, NATO members, foreign leaders – in short, everyone except Republicans and Vladimir Putin.
