Sales of armored vehicles are rapidly increasing in the US, Africa, South America and elsewhere. "People are worried about random acts of violence," says one executive. How sad, and how scary, that our world has come to this.

Hyatt is joining Holiday Inn and Marriott in getting rid of travel-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hair gel. "Travel-sized" is a common term in the hotel industry. It means, "We know all our guests take these bottles home, so we're certainly not going to put big bottles in the rooms."

Our pompous, narcissistic President has a galaxy-sized ego and thinks everything is about him so naturally he takes sole credit when our nation's economy is strong. Nobody else in the United States has any influence on our economy. No, our economy is controlled by Trump and Trump alone. He wants sole credit. Thus, it's only fair that we thank Emperor Trump for our record-setting personal debt.

Americans now have a record $14 trillion in debt

Whoever created this fake coupon – a disgruntled former employee, perhaps? – doesn't know much about Costco's history. The coupons are supposedly to celebrate Costco's "50th anniversary." Costco was founded September 15, 1983 – 36 years ago.

Bezos is no longer the world's wealthiest person. He can blame his costly divorce from MacKenzie in April. She wound up with Amazon shares worth $37 billion (and vowed to give half of her fortune to charity). Don't feel sorry for Bezos, though – he's still worth $108.7 billion.

State and Los Angeles County officials are suing Juul for running ads targeting minors and for failing to warn of the dangers of e-cigarettes. According to the CDC, vaping has led to the deaths of 42 people and caused respiratory illnesses in 2,173 others. The White House announced in September that President Trump would enact a ban on flavored e-cigarettes. He has since changed his mind because the ban would lead to job losses. For Trump, money is more important than human life.

Trump's trade war and tariffs soured US-China relations, drove up prices for American consumers, drove up costs for American manufacturers and led to billions of dollars in losses for American farmers. Trump is now faced with trying to repair the damage without coming across as the loser of the trade war. Is America "great" yet?

While you weren't looking, the trade war with China went off the rails
