    2018-19 NBA season

The 2018-19 NBA regular season begins October 16 with the 76ers playing the Celtics in Boston and the Thunder playing the Warriors in Oakland.

Bleacher Report columnist Zach Buckley has come up with win-loss projections for each team -- and we all know how accurate all the polls, predictions and projections can be. The highlights: Buckley thinks the Hawks will finish the regular season 20-62, the Warriors will go 60-22, the Lakers (who signed ex-Cavalier LeBron James to a four-year $153,000,000 contract) will be 44-38 and the Clippers, who have never gotten past the second round of the playoffs and likely never will, will finish with a record of 36-46. Memo to Steve Ballmer: You overpaid for the Clippers.

The Lakers might also get Kawhi Leonard. He will be a free agent next year and ESPN says he wants to play for the Lakers or the Clippers.

A lot of former NBA players play in the Big3 league that started last year and there was a lot of talk about Kobe Bryant playing next season but it turned out to be just a rumor.

LeBron James just held his first press conference as a Laker and he says the Lakers have a long way to go to be as good as Golden State. I hope he is wrong. I would like to see the Lakers win their division this season.

So would thousands of people placing bets in Las Vegas. Right now the favored team to win the 2019 NBA championship is Boston at 5-1 odds but more people are betting on the Lakers, at 12-1 odds, than on Boston. Thank LeBron!

During LeBron James' first home game as a Laker, a brawl broke out. The NBA was quick to issue suspensions. Welcome to Los Angeles, LeBron! The Lakers have lost their first two games of the season.

Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul suspended without pay for their role in a fourth-quarter fight

The Spurs just beat the Lakers in overtime. I thought the Lakers would be a lot better than the Clippers this year and I know the season just started but right now the Lakers are 0-3 and the Clippers are 2-1.

The Clippers lost Blake Griffin to the Pistons and I thought they would not do very well this season but they are in first place with a 14-6 record. LeBron James has not helped the Lakers as much as I expected but they are still doing much better than last season. They are 11-9 right now.

Phoenix is rthe worst team in the NBA and they just beat the Lakers. The Lakers are 4 and a half games out of the last playoff spot. Ingram is really hot this year but getting LeBron is starting to look like a mistake.

The Clippers just beat the Lakers. If the Lakers do not get better, they are going to miss the playoffs for the 6th year in a row.
