The World War Zero initiative seeks to mobilize people to combat climate change. The coalition includes Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, John Kasich, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sting, Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio and many other politicians and celebrities. The President who believes global warming is a hoax and who pulled the US out of the Paris climate accord is noticeably absent.

The average high temperature across Australia was a record-setting 105.6° yesterday. Some areas could reach highs of 115° over the next few days. As earth's temperatures continue to rise, the Emperor of Trumpworld, the land of delusions, continues to call global warming a "hoax." Sad!

Australia has its hottest day on record

According to NOAA, the ten hottest years ever recorded have occurred since 2005. Nineteen of the 20 hottest years ever recorded have occurred since 2000. Emperor Trump refuses to believe the many thousands of scientists and climate studies documenting the steady rise in earth's temperature. Global warming, declares the Emperor, is a hoax invented by the Chinese to harm United States manufacturing. How does he explain such a bizarre belief? He doesn't even try. Now let's get those coal miners back to work!

Climate activist Greta Thunberg said it would be a waste of time for her to talk to Trump about climate change
"Obviously he's not listening to scientists and experts so why would he listen to me?" she told BBC Radio 4.

NEPA requires an environmental impact assessment of all federally-funded projects, including pipelines, highways, oil fields and gas fields. The Act passed unanimously in the Senate, passed the House 372-15 and was signed into law by President Nixon on January 1, 1970. Emperor Trump doesn't care about the environment, nor does he care about combatting climate change (which he denounces as a "hoax"). Trump has decreed that if a federal project is going to destroy the environment, damage people's health and add to global warming, hey, that's fine with him. Now let's get those coal miners back to work!

On August 6, 1945, during World War II, an American B-29 dropped an atomic bomb over Hiroshima. Eighty thousand people died instantly. Thousands more died later from the radiation. Here is a very scary story about the rapid rise in ocean temperatures and the effects of warmer waters on coral reefs and sea life:

Oceans are warming at the same rate as if five Hiroshima atomic bombs were dropped into the water every second

The five hottest years on record are the years 2015 through 2019. Of the 20 warmest years on record, 19 have occurred since 2000. (The other was 1998.) Those are the facts, Ma'am. Those are the facts.

2019 was the second-hottest year on record, NASA says

Nineteen of the 20 hottest years on record have occurred since 2000. Oceans are warming, sea ice is melting, coral reefs are bleaching, global temperatures are rising, crops are dying, droughts and wildfires are becoming more severe – and Emperor Trump refuses to accept the findings of thousands of scientific studies documenting the impact of global warming. He touted America's "environmental numbers, our water numbers, our numbers on air." He called the numbers "tremendous." What "numbers" was he talking about? Who knows? Now let's get those coal miners back to work!

King Donald the First refuses to accept the findings of thousands of scientists and hundreds of climate studies. Instead, he believes climate change is a hoax and pulled the US out of the Paris climate accord. King Donald the First abolished several clean-air and clean-water regulations. King Donald the First loves fossil fuels and is trying to get our nation's coal miners back to work. King Donald the First wants to allow mining and logging on millions of acres of protected land in Alaska. King Donald the First isn't done destroying our nation's land, air and water. He's just getting started.

Antarctica's glaciers are melting rapidly because of global warming. If the entire ice sheet were to melt, ocean levels would rise by almost 200 feet. Maybe it's time to start building an ark.

Antarctica just registered its hottest temperature ever

Last week, Antarctica recorded its highest temperature ever. And this week.......

Giant iceberg breaks off Antarctic glacier
An iceberg the size of Malta broke off the Pine Island glacier in Antarctica. The glacier has lost dramatic amounts of ice over the last 25 years as the region warms due to the climate crisis.
