Another tv show is being turned into a movie. Yes, because movies adapted from CHiPs, Yogi Bear, Bewitched, Lost In Space, Land Of The Lost, Starsky & Hutch, Sgt. Bilko, The Honeymooners, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Mod Squad, The Dukes Of Hazzard, Inspector Gadget and Car 54 Where Are You were just oh-so-successful.

Deadwood was centered around an 1876 gold strike in South Dakota. In 2018, Hollywood must think it can strike gold by turning the tv series into a movie.

It took 12 years but HBO has confirmed the Deadwood movie is happening

I'm guessing Archie Bunker will be a black Democrat living next door to a bigoted white Republican, the Jeffersons will be Muslims dealing with persecution, Maude will be a transsexual, and the Evans family will be illegal immigrants -- JJ's catchphrase will be "Im-mi-gra-tion!"
