I can understand this man's reasoning: "If the President of the United States can do it and get away with it, why can't I?"

Companies can try to cover up instances of sexual harassment and sexual abuse but they won't be able to cover it up forever. If you don't believe me, you can Google it.

This headline tells me that the reason so many companies are no longer hosting holiday parties is because the men know they won't be able to keep their hands off the women. Hey, men, here is a word for you to learn: "self-control, noun, the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations."

Fewer office holiday parties this year, a sign of #MeToo liability fears

The majority of women want to see strong gun-control measures and tough legislation regarding sexual harassment and abuse. Unfortunately, the number of women in Congress next year will be a minority, only 20%. But 2020 is coming. And 2022 is coming. And 2024. And.......

The 'wave of women' entering Congress could turn the #MeToo movement into concrete action
    Business Insider, Nov 16 2018

The 2018 midterm elections represented the first electoral referendum of the #MeToo era. More than 500 women ran in primaries for federal office, which led to a record number of women set to take office. After a year of headlines involving sexual misconduct in a variety of industries, Congress has not passed a single piece of legislation on harassment. With Democrats poised to take over the House but not the Senate, the question is now whether Congress will finally roll up its sleeves to tackle the root causes of the #MeToo crisis.

In separate press conferences after the election, both President Donald Trump and soon-to-be Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi expressed some hope that they could work together on certain issues — though #MeToo does not seem to be among them. Nevertheless, it's worth at least trying to extract #MeToo from the culture wars and treat it like a serious policy issue.

This song was written by Frank Loesser in 1944 and features a man telling a woman, "Baby, don't hold out." Horrors! We certainly can't be playing that song in 2018 -- not with the #MeToo movement going strong. (I wonder if the protesters are familiar with the Crystals' 1962 recording of a song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, He Hit Me & It Felt Like A Kiss.)

A website called JesusNoRepublican has compiled a list of all the Republican politicians who have committed sexual abuse and sexual misconduct. Their crimes are detailed -- and it may take you an hour to read everything. It is a very long list. The site also has a very lengthy list detailing Republican political corruption.

In this case, the "ob" in "obstetrician" must be short for "obnoxious."

I think the $120 million should be divided among the 17 CBS employees who accused Moonves of sexual assault and sexual harassment. Of course Moonves tried to deny everything. He put the "BS" in CBS.

This news is really alarming. Southern Baptists. The people in the #MeToo movement are probably shaking their heads in dismay and asking, "Them, too?"
