Sixteen women have accused Donald Trump of groping and sexual misconduct, things he once bragged about doing. He has said every one of those 16 women is lying. Unfortunately, none of them will be attending the State Of The Union address -- but other sexual assault victims will be there. Sooner or later, Trump will have to face his accusers.

Los Angeles Times, Jan 16 2018 1:55 PM

PBS plans to dive into the public conversation surrounding sexual harassment with a new five-part series called #MeToo, Now What? Paula Kerger, PBS president and CEO, announced the series Tuesday morning at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena. Hosted by Women For Women International founder and author Zainab Salbi, the half-hour program debuts February 2 and will engage both women and men to understand how and why the discussion of sexual misconduct has cracked wide open and what we can learn from it.

Brigitte Bardot this week denounced all the women who have come forward to say they were victims of sexual abuse and harassment: "They're just doing it to get attention." You're wrong, Brigitte. They're speaking out because they want to see abusive men finally held accountable for their behavior.

On January 20, the anniversary of Donald Trump's inauguration, hundreds of thousands of marchers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco and dozens of other cities held rallies to protest Trump's racism, his attitude toward women and his anti-immigration policies. The marchers also expressed support for the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, which have forced many sexually abusive men (but not Donald Trump.......yet) from their positions of power.

The marchers hope to mobilize voters to elect more Democrats, more women and more progressives in the 2018 midterm elections. As Senator Kirsten Gillibrand told marchers in Washington DC, "It is women who are holding our country together in these dangerous times."

Justice has been served. Here is an excerpt from the story: "Nassar was charged with molesting seven girls or young women but he is accused of sexual misconduct or abuse by well over 100. His victims — including Olympians Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas and McKayla Maroney — have said he molested them under the guise of conducting medical treatments. Athletes and their parents were told repeatedly that when he touched and penetrated them inappropriately, he was adhering to a proven method for healing sports injuries." Yeah, how did that "proven method" work out for you, Larry?
