    Summa cum laude is a Latin phrase meaning "with highest honors." In Charleston, South Carolina, an 18-year-old boy was graduating from his Christian-based home-school program with a 4.89 grade-point average and the honor of summa cum laude. His mother ordered a congratulatory cake from her local Publix grocery store. The husband picked up the cake and when he got it home, they saw that it had been censored. It said Summa --- Laude. Cum, which means "with" in Latin, was considered to be a "profane" word. Hey, Publix, here is another Latin phrase for you: Tu stultus es!

    Proud mom orders Summa Cum Laude cake online. Publix censors it.

    These disgusting flavors will be included in this year's BeanBoozled assortments. The disgusting-flavor jelly beans have the same colors as regular jelly beans so you can't tell which ones are disgusting until you bite into them. What fun! What suspense! What excitement! And what kind of schmucks actually buy these? Previous disgusting flavors have included vomit, dirty socks, dead fish, skunk spray, rotten eggs and moldy cheese.

    Jelly Belly Candy Company introduces two new flavors: Stink bug and dirty dishwater

    I can answer the question asked in the headline: Nobody thought of churro straws before now because it's a stupid idea. Doy!

    Del Taco now sells milkshakes with churro straws
    Why has no one ever thought of this?

    Yes, another weird news story from Florida. And why would any lawyer even take such an idiotic case?

    Camel's milk is nine times more expensive than cow's milk but experts say it's beneficial for people suffering from diabetes and autoimmune diseases. Ummm.......I'll take their word for it.

    Camel milk is the latest dairy trend rising in demand across the world

    In 1958, the first International House Of Pancakes -- what the heck was "international" about it? -- opened in Burbank. In 1973, the chain shortened its name to IHOP. And now, in June 2018, IHOP is becoming a laughingstock:

    IHOP to change its name to IHOb on June 11. The Internet predictably goes wild.

    This article says IHOP is "doubling down on culinary innovation." Yeah, selling hamburgers is just such a clever, creative, unique idea. Anyway, the name change is only temporary -- and look at all the free publicity they've gotten!

    IHOP has revealed why it changed its name to IHOb and it represents a massive new strategy for the chain

    IHOP's temporary name change to IHOb is attracting a lot of attention on Twitter today from other restaurant chains. Here are three of the tweets:

    Whataburger
    @Whataburger
    As much as we love our pancakes, we'd never change our name to Whatapancake.
    7:43 AM - Jun 11, 2018

    Red Robin
    @redrobinburgers
    We’re as serious about pancakes as @IHOb is about burgers.
    8:31 AM - Jun 11, 2018

    White Castle
    @WhiteCastle
    We are excited to announce that we will be switching our name to Pancake Castle.

    The fast-food chain that specializes in subs is slowly sinking. (Yes, another bad pun. I know.)

    Subway is backing off breakfast
    Business Insider, Jun 14 2018

    Subway is no longer requiring franchisees to serve breakfast. The sandwich chain changed its policies to allow franchisees to opt out of serving egg-based sandwiches and opening by 7 AM every day. The chain's breakfast options never caught on across the United States in the eight years since Subway began serving the morning meal. Market-research firm Field Agent found that 43% of Subway customers do not visit for breakfast and 19% did not even know the chain served breakfast.

    With unemployment at a 17-year low, restaurants are struggling to hire and retain workers. Finding employees to work early hours is yet another complication that helped convince Subway to change its breakfast policies. The change comes at a tumultuous time for Subway, with the chain's US store count falling by 909 last year.

    McDonald's will not say what type of straw will be tested in the US. Straws are plastic or paper. What else is there? Maybe recyclable aluminum? Bamboo? Who knows?

    McDonald's to switch to paper straws in UK, Ireland; will test alternative to plastic straws in select US locations
