Millions of lazy Americans have found it's much easier to have food delivered than to have to take the time and trouble to get in a car and drive a half-mile to eat in a local restaurant. Thus.......

The Fresno Grizzlies are the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals and play in the Pacific Coast League. I have a feeling they won't be having taco eating contests anymore.

Let's give this schmuck the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he pulled a gun because he was planning to go out and shoot a chicken and make his own sandwich.

These so-called "luxury" candy bars sell for £14 ($17) each. I doubt any Hallowe'en trick-or-treaters will be getting them.

"You deserve a break today" – and a patty that looks like hamburger but is made from dandelion leaves, bamboo and hay. (That's only a slight exaggeration. The actual ingredients are shown at https://www.businessinsider.com/what...-burger-2019-5 )

Today's Japanese language lesson: 嫌な. It's pronounce "lyana" and it means "disgusting."

    GROSS: There's now a mayonnaise-flavored ice cream
    KTBZ-FM, Oct 1 2019

We now have a contender for the strangest ice cream ever, thanks to Japan's Morinaga Milk Industry. Dubbed the "Calorie Monster Cherio Creamy Mayonnaise Flavor," the limited-time frozen treat went on sale last week. It's served as an ice cream bar, with white chocolate in the center surrounded by the mayo-flavor ice cream, then dipped in a white chocolate shell with cookie crumbs. The dessert has 307 calories and is available there until March 2020.

Panera sells three million macaroni-and-cheese bowls every month. We now know they're frozen, not fresh – and by firing the woman who revealed this, Panera has ensured even more negative publicity.

IHOP is joining Wendy's, McDonald's, Jack-In-The-Box, Panera, Burger King, Dunkin' and other chains in trying to appeal to the growing number of Americans who prefer to eat breakfast at a fast-food restaurant instead of at home. But could they not have come up with a better name than "Flip'd"?

The first McDonald's opened in 1940 in San Bernardino. There are now almost 38,000 worldwide. I think it's Mcreally Mcannoying that McDonald's adds "Mc" to the names of so Mcmany of their Mcmenu items.
