The February 5 impeachment acquittal of King Donald the First by Senate Republicans sent a very clear message: He is an autocrat who is above the law and above the Constitution and can abuse his power with impunity. King Donald is now purging his administration of everyone who dares to disagree with him and everyone who fails to worship him as much as he worships himself. John Rood is the latest. There will be many more.

Top Defense official resigns at Trump's request
John Rood, the Pentagon's top policy official, had warned against withholding Ukraine aid.

A "purge" is "a removal or execution of people who are considered undesirable by those in power from a government, another organization, their team leaders or society as a whole." Purges were common in Russia when the Communist party held power. The purge now being conducted by King Donald the First will put every Russian Чистка партийных рядов to shame.

White House staff is looking for disloyalty
Trump's new personnel chief said his office will be hunting for people across the federal bureaucracy who are disloyal to the President, sources say.

Democrats want open borders. Ivanka created 15,000,000 jobs. The Mueller investigation was illegal. Thousands of illegal votes were cast in New Hampshire. China is paying for the tariffs. Millions of Venezuelans live in the United States. Redemption money is paying for the wall. ("Redemption money"?) If King Donald's nose grew every time he told a lie (like Pinocchio), it would now extend past the Andromeda Galaxy.

Trump made 56 false claims last week, including debunked New Hampshire conspiracy theory

The one thing King Donald the First loves almost as much as he loves himself is money. He also loves wealthy banks, wealthy corporations and wealthy Americans and gives them huge tax cuts so they can become even more wealthy. King Donald doesn't care about America's poor or the middle class. Federal judges are blocking King Donald's attempts to punish poor people and I figure it's just a matter of time before King Donald calls these judges nasty names on Twitter and yells, "Off with their heads!"

A conservative judge just slapped the Trump administration's treatment of poor people
And that wasn't the only recent federal decision rebuking Republican policies for their lack of compassion and fairness.

The 2019-nCoV virus has already infected more than 80,000 people worldwide and killed 2,698. In an opinion piece, Chelsea Clinton and Devi Sridhar denounce King Donald the First for his abolishment of the position of Global Health Czar, his disdain for health experts, his attempts to cut global health funding and his "deep ignorance and cruelty" regarding global health issues. The Trump administration is not equipped to deal with a pandemic and Americans will suffer.

Under Trump, America is less prepared for a coronavirus outbreak

King Donald the First says the coronavirus is under control. That is a lie. King Donald the First says the stock market is doing well. That is another lie. In an idiotic tweet, King Donald the First accused CNN and MSNBC of "doing everything possible to make the Caronavirus look as bad as possible." Yes, he misspelled "coronavirus" – and yes, his accusation is false.

Analysis: Trump's war on truth takes a dangerous turn as he attacks the media's coronavirus coverage
Experts have warned that the President's lack of credibility would imperil the country in an emergency. With the worsening coronavirus outbreak, those fears may be coming true.

King Donald the First loves Fox News, a.k.a. the Trump Cheerleading Channel, because their anchors and reporters worship him almost as much as he worships himself. King Donald the First hates all the other news outlets, especially CNN, NBC, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post. (NBC and MSNBC are owned by Comcast.) Dictators throughout history have done their best to silence their critics and King Donald the First is no exception.

King Donald the First, same as all the great dictators who have preceded him, seeks to silence his critics and silence the news media. Remember, he called the news media "the enemy of the American people" – and who cares about freedom of the press and some silly old First Amendment, anyway?

Trump sues The Washington Post for defamation
    HuffPost US, Mar 4 2020 8:50 AM

President Donald Trump has fulfilled his threat to sue more media outlets for defamation. His target this time: The Washington Post. Trump's campaign sued The New York Times for libel last week over a 2019 opinion piece written by Max Frankel, a former executive editor of the newspaper. Frankel suggested in his essay that Trump's campaign had engaged in a "quid pro quo" with Russia before the 2016 presidential election. The President called Frankel’s remarks "totally wrong" during a press briefing last Wednesday, adding, "They did a bad thing. There will be more coming."

On Tuesday, Trump's reelection campaign slapped The Washington Post with a similar lawsuit. Filed in federal court in Washington DC, the suit takes aim at opinion articles from last year that linked Trump to Russian election meddling.

Doing fact checks on King Donald the First is easy. You just start with the assumption that nothing he ever says is factual.

Fact check: From coronavirus to Kim Jong Un, Trump makes at least 14 false claims in Fox News town hall

King Donald the First, same as all the world's dictators who have preceded him, does not believe in freedom of the press and seeks to silence his critics. (To King Donald, a critic is anyone who tells the truth about him.) First he sued the New York Times. Then he sued the Washington Post. Now he's suing CNN. He will never sue Fox News, of course, because that's the Trump Cheerleading Channel – but MSNBC could be next.
