Per the Washington Post, which keeps track of all the lies and misleading statements told by Donald Trump, the pompous, narcissistic, corrupt, crooked, dishonest, orange-skinned buffoon has spewed more than 13,600 lies since he's been in office. Does Trump know 95% of what he says is a lie? Maybe not. He's so deranged and delusional, he probably believes he's truthful. Here is one of today's big lies:

Fact check: Trump falsely claimed he 'opened' an Austin factory that has made Apple computers since 2013

Trump's decisions regarding NATO, Syria and Ukraine – including pushing the false story that Ukraine, not Russia, meddled in our 2016 election – serve to strengthen Vladimir Putin and Russia. (Remember when Trump declared, "Putin said he didn't meddle and I believe him"?) David Andelman, a CNN contributor and former foreign correspondent for CBS News and The New York Times, explains how Trump's actions are enabling Russian expansionism and threatening American and Western values.

Ten criminal charges, including premeditated murder of a prisoner, were filed against Chief Petty Officer Eddie Gallagher. He was convicted of only one charge: posing for a photo with a dead ISIS fighter, a violation of the military code. Gallagher served time in prison and was reduced in rank to Petty Officer First Class. Emperor Trump, who not only loves criminals but hires many of them, decided to reverse Gallagher's demotion and pardon two Army officers accused of war crimes. The Secretary of the Navy objected to his authority being undermined by Trump – and now he's been fired.

If Donald Trump were to make hush-money payments to everyone who has damaging information about him, the number of wealthy people in the world would increase tenfold.

National Enquirer company chief David Pecker talking with New York prosecutors
    CNN, Nov 25 2019 4:22 AM

David Pecker, the head of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, has spoken with prosecutors with the New York District Attorney's office as part of its investigation into the Trump Organization's handling of hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with President Donald Trump, sources with knowledge of the meeting tell CNN.

The America Media Inc. chairman's late October meeting with prosecutors from the major economic crimes bureau could provide key details on discussions that took place involving Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who allegedly had an affair with Trump, and agreements that were made with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, the sources said. Cohen is cooperating with the investigation. Pecker is expected to continue talking with prosecutors, sources said.

The meeting between Pecker and the local prosecutors shows that investigators are still trying to connect the dots between Trump and the hush money payments. The meeting could result in Pecker being a potential critical witness down the road in any legal action against Trump or the Trump Organization. Prosecutors are investigating whether any state laws were broken, such as whether the Trump Organization falsified any business records relating to the Daniels payment.

Donald Trump used various shady tax schemes to avoid paying taxes on a $400,000,000 inheritance. Now we learn he keeps two sets of books at Trump Tower: one for lenders to see and one for the IRS to see. Trump bragged that avoiding taxes makes him "smart." No, it makes him a tax cheat.

New documents show Trump kept two sets of books for his biggest property
in Manhattan, pointing to potential financial fraud and tax fraud

Fox News hosts love to spread fake news and conspiracy theories. Our fake President believes everything he hears on Fox News and then spreads the same fake news and conspiracy theories. Sad.

Trump talks 'War on Thanksgiving,' likely heard from Fox News
    Yahoo News, Nov 27 2019 12:48 PM

At a rally Tuesday night in Sunrise, Florida, President Trump declared a victory in the imaginary "War on Christmas" while warning of a new one: the war on Thanksgiving. “Some people want to change the name 'Thanksgiving,'" Trump told his supporters. "They don’t want to use the term 'Thanksgiving.' And that was true also with Christmas. But now everybody is using 'Christmas' again. Remember I said that? But now we’re going to have to do a little work on Thanksgiving. People have different ideas why it shouldn't be called Thanksgiving but everybody in this room I know loves the name 'Thanksgiving' and we're not changing it.”

Like the so-called war on Christmas, the rhetorical assault on Thanksgiving is a notion that largely originated with Fox News. Earlier this month, HuffPost published an article, "The Environmental Impact Of Your Thanksgiving Dinner," that offered suggestions for meatless alternatives to the traditional turkey-centric meal. The author, Alexandra Emanuelli, also suggested buying locally sourced ingredients and gathering in a location that requires less travel in order to minimize the impact on the environment. She did not suggest changing the name of the holiday.

For Fox News hosts, the article was the perfect stuffing, spoon-fed to viewers of Fox & Friends, The Five, Tucker Carlson Tonight, and other shows on the President's favorite cable network. And from Fox News to Trump's mouth. "Liberals are coming for your Thanksgiving turkey!" declared Greg Gutfeld, co-host of The Five, on November 6, a day after the article was published. The show included a giant graphic emblazoned with "War on Thanksgiving" as a backdrop.

On Fox & Friends the next day, co-host Ainsley Earhardt falsely claimed the HuffPost piece was "telling America cancel Thanksgiving because of the carbon footprint, telling you not to travel to see family, don’t eat meat, eat veggies." Tucker Carlson also falsely claimed that the article was "demanding that you cancel Thanksgiving dinner."

"This was a shocking and unprecedented intervention in a low-level review," Spencer wrote. "It was also a reminder that the President has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices." Indeed. A man who bribed a doctor to diagnose him with "bone spurs" so he could avoid the draft is morally and ethically unfit to serve as Commander In Chief of the United States Armed Forces.

In halting the punishment of Eddie Gallagher, Emperor Trump overruled the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Navy, the SEAL commander and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Emperor Trump does not want American troops prosecuted for murdering civilians, even though that's a violation of military law. Emperor Trump also pardoned three Army officers convicted of murder, including one who killed an unarmed Iraqi man during an interrogation. Emperor Trump also pardoned racial-profiling Sheriff Joe Arpaio, convicted fraudster Conrad Black and convicted campaign-finance-law violator Dinesh D'Souza. None of these pardons went through normal Justice Department channels. Emperor Trump just acted on his own. And why not? After all, he's above the law.

Many Republican Congressmen may be "disgusted" by Trump's behavior – and it's hard to imagine why any wouldn't be – but they're afraid to say so publicly. They're afraid of Emperor Trump hurting them politically and they're afraid of alienating Trump's blindly loyal supporters. They have no conscience and no backbone. Trump and the Republican party come first and the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Presidential oath of office, the balance of powers, the integrity of our elections and what is in the best interest of the United States of America are unimportant.

House Republicans are 'absolutely disgusted and exhausted' by Trump's behavior, says former GOP Congressman Charlie Dent

Almost all of Emperor Trump's "public support" comes from Republicans. They belong to the Cult of Donald Trump and they blindly worship their cult leader. I don't expect them to change, at least not until Trump is out of office. Author, historian and Rice University history professor Douglas Brinkley offers an opposing view:

Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley predicts public support for Trump will collapse
