    Donald Trump, a pompous narcissist with an ego larger than the national debt and federal deficit combined, will likely respond to this news by declaring, "This proves how much Pelosi and the Democrats love me!"

    Even though Nancy Pelosi believes Trump is "ethically unfit" and "intellectually unfit" to be President, she is not in favor of impeachment because it would divide the country. (As if the country isn't already divided.)

    CNN's Erin Burnett said today Pelosi has to be aware of the political risks of impeachment. Burnett cited polls showing Bill Clinton's approval rating rose 10% in the week following his impeachment in December 1998 and the Republicans' disapproval rating rose by 10%. In 2000, Republicans lost two House Seats and four Senate seats. Many Congressional Democrats would love to impeach Trump -- but the Democratic party would suffer as a result. Pelosi knows this.

    CNN political analyst Stephen Collinson looks at today's press briefing by Trump lap dog Sarah Sanders. She had nothing to say about Michael Cohen, hush-money payments, Paul Manafort's prison sentence, the vacant Secretary of Defense job or Trump's abuse of power -- but the lap dog did repeat her master's accusation that Democrats are baby killers and are anti-Jewish. She refused to address any of the scandals which Collinson says would have doomed the Presidency of any of Trump's predecessors. And after the briefing, Trump again called the news media "dishonest." Trump and his lap dog are a disgrace to the office of President!

    Deutsche Bank is under scrutiny for huge loans made to Donald Trump. Why did they loan him money when no other banks would? And why did Trump lie about his assets? There should be a new tv series, CSI: Trump.

    Tom Steyer, a billionaire hedge fund manager and political activist whose "Need To Impeach" campaign has gotten more than 7,500,000 signatures on a petition calling for Trump's impeachment, responded on Twitter to Nancy Pelosi's declaration that impeachment would divide the nation and Trump is "just not worth it":

    Tom Steyer
    @TomSteyer
    Trump is "just not worth it"? Is defending our legal system "worth it"? Is holding the President accountable "worth it"? Is doing what's right "worth it"? Or shall America just stop fighting for our principles and do what's politically convenient?
    2:31 PM - Mar 11, 2019

    Steyer's "Need To Impeach" campaign will run ads tomorrow night, March 13, on CNN and MSNBC calling for Trump's impeachment.

    After receiving a 47-month prison sentence last week, Trump's former campaign chairman was sentenced today to an additional three and a half years in prison. Paul Manafort is one of those "very best people" Trump said he surrounds himself with. But wait -- there's more!

    New York charges Paul Manafort with 16 crimes. If he's convicted, Trump can't pardon him.

    The President will veto this resolution, of course. He is maniacally determined to build the unnecessary, expensive, ineffective Trump Wall monument to himself.

    Flake, Collins, McCain and Murkowski are among the very small number of Republicans who haven't been afraid to criticize Trump and to oppose his abuse of power and his reckless policies. As New York Times writers Michael Shear and Sheryl Stolberg observe, that number may be growing because some of the Republicans who typically vote "in lockstep with the President" are finally at a "breaking point" and are finally standing up to him, something they should have been doing all along.

    Congress has a breaking point. This week, Trump might have found it.
