More proof that Russian hackers interfered with our election! Vladimir Putin certainly wanted his good friend Donald Trump in the White House.

An analysis on the front page of today's Los Angeles Times details Trump's many actions which have invited scrutiny regarding possible obstruction of justice: demanding the loyalty of FBI director James Comey; asking Comey to back off from the investigation of Michael Flynn; saying Comey had "better hope" Trump has no tapes of their meeting; firing Comey; telling NBC he fired Comey over "the Russia thing"; humiliating Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia inquiry; pressuring the Justice Department to open investigations of Hillary Clinton and other Democrats; asking NSA head Michael Rogers to publicly say there was no Trump-Russia collusion; helping to draft a false statement about the meeting between his son, son-in-law, campaign chairman and Russians at Trump Tower, a statement which said the meeting was about adoption policies when in truth it was about Russia claiming to have "dirt" on Clinton. To all that, we can add his order for the firing of Robert Mueller, an order he wound up backing down on.

Trump's words and deeds may result in a criminal indictment for obstruction of justice and/or an impeachment referral to Congress. Robert Mueller will decide.

Trump's own actions put him at risk
News that he ordered special counsel's firing over Russia inquiry adds to political if not legal case against him.

Not even all the Republicans believe Trump when he says he has no plans to fire Archibald Cox. I'm sorry, I was thinking about Richard Nixon. I meant to say Robert Mueller.

I agree with Pelosi's assessment of Trump's immigration plans. He frequently denigrates Mexicans, Haitians, Puerto Ricans, Africans, blacks and Muslims while saying there are "many fine people" among the neo-Nazis and white supremacists. Trump does indeed want to Make America White Again.

Democratic senator criticizes Pelosi's immigration comment
    Reuters, Jan 28 2018 8:38 AM

Senator Joe Manchin, a moderate Democrat, said today he thought a new White House immigration plan was a good starting point and he criticized House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi for dismissing it as a way to "make America white again." "We don’t need that type of rhetoric on either side, from Nancy, Paul Ryan or anybody else," said Manchin, a West Virginian and a leader of a bipartisan Senate group working on immigration. He spoke on CNN's State Of The Union program.

Manchin's comments highlighted differences among Democrats ahead of a February 8 deadline for Congress to pass another spending bill and try to reach an immigration agreement that would also protect up to 1.8 million illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children, a group known as "Dreamers," from deportation.

The exodus continues -- and the President continues to insist the White House is not in chaos. Yeah, all the firings and resignations, the Russia probe, the election meddling, the Cambridge Analytica controversy, the lawsuits filed against him by sexual abuse victims, his son's impending divorce, the staff members losing their security clearance, the ill-advised congratulatory phone call to Putin.......uh-huh, the White House is in fine shape.

The exodus continues. Trump must think he's still hosting The Apprentice the way he keeps saying "You're fired!" to his aides, his cabinet members and other government workers..

Happy Easter, everyone! "He is not here. He is risen." How did Donald Trump spend his Easter morning? Sending out nasty tweets, of course. He attacked the Democrats (again), he attacked Mexico (again), he attacked the Dreamers (again) and he attacked US immigration laws (again):

"Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. Caravans coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!"

"Mexico is doing very little, if not NOTHING, at stopping people from flowing into Mexico through their Southern Border, and then into the U.S. They laugh at our dumb immigration laws. They must stop the big drug and people flows or I will stop their cash cow, NAFTA. NEED WALL!"

"These big flows of people are all trying to take advantage of DACA. They want in on the act!"

Regarding the above tweets from Donald Trump: The Democrats do not have a "catch and release" program. Our immigration laws are not "dumb." Border agents can do their jobs. Mexico is cooperating with the US to stop illegal border crossings. The number of illegal crossings has been steadily declining for several years. Most of the "drug and people flows" are entering the US by boat or automobile. On four occasions, Trump was presented with bi-partisan legislation to protect the DACA recipients and all four times he rejected the proposals. Now he's blaming the Democrats for the failure of DACA protections, even though Trump is the one who ended the DACA program in the first place. And his dumb border wall would be a waste of taxpayer money because the majority of our nation's illegal immigrants came here legally and just overstayed their visas.

    And now.......the exodus continues:

DJ Gribbin, White House's top infrastructure adviser, is leaving
