CNN's Erin Burnett today spoke with Jennifer Wexton, Democratic Representative of Virginia's 10th Congressional District. Wexton complained about Mitch McConnell refusing to allow the Senate to vote on a bipartisan spending plan approved the House. The plan would allow government to reopen but McConnell rejects any plan that doesn't give Trump $5.6 billion of taxpayers' money to waste on a stupid wall.
Wexton also noted that most of the illegals, and most of the drugs entering the United States are coming through legal ports of entry. She said, "Republicans controlled both houses of Congress for two years. Why didn't they say there was a 'crisis' and an 'emergency' then? Why did they wait until the Democrats regained the House?" Good question!
