What will Emperor Trump do now? Even members of his own party are turning against him. Maybe he'll issue a command: "Off with their heads!"

GOP Rep. Justin Amash becomes first Republican to call for Trump's impeachment
    CNN, May 18 2019 6:15 PM ET

Michigan GOP Rep. Justin Amash said today he had concluded President Donald Trump committed "impeachable conduct" and accused Attorney General William Barr of intentionally misleading the public. Amash's comments recommending Congress pursue obstruction of justice charges against Trump were the first instance of a sitting Republican in Congress calling for Trump's impeachment. Amash is a rare GOP critic of Trump and previously said Trump's conduct in pressuring then-FBI Director James Comey could merit impeachment.

On Twitter today, Amash said he believed "few members of Congress even read" special counsel Robert Mueller's report and that the report itself established "multiple examples" of Trump committing obstruction of justice. "Contrary to Barr's portrayal, Mueller's report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment," Amash said.

Isn't this cute? The Attorney General has learned to squawk "Witch Hunt!" just like the orange-skinned parrot in the White House. He's also parroting Trump's baselesss accusation that the FBI spied on the Trump campaign in 2016. Awwwrkkk!

Two wild interviews show how Attorney General William Barr is behaving more like Trump's personal defense lawyer than the nation's top law enforcement officer

Deutsche Bank loaned more than $300 million to the Trump Organization when no other banks would take the risk – and Deutsche Bank employees became suspicious of "money flowing back and forth with overseas entities or individuals." Money laundering? Possibly. We need to know if Trump's transactions involved dollars.....or rubles.

Emperor Trump today told reporters, "I think we've been the most transparent administration in the history of our country." Yeah, if you consider lying, hiding financial records, lying, making hush-money payments, lying, ignoring subpoenas, lying and concealing details of meetings with Putin to be examples of "transparency."

Remember when Trump vowed to spend most of his time in the White House if he won the Presidency? Just another lie, one of many thousands.

On at least 16 occasions, Donald Trump promised to release his taxes. On each of those occasions, he was lying. Yesterday he bragged that his administration has been the most "transparent" in our nation's history. That, too, was a lie. What is he hiding?

Our nation's crumbling infrastructure needs many billions of dollars' worth of improvements but Emperor Trump today told Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi he will not discuss infrastructure with them until the Democrats end their "phony investigations." In other words, Emperor Trump comes first and the United States of America comes second. By the way, the $102 million of taxpayers' money that Emperor Trump has spent on his golf outings is more than three times what the Mueller investigation cost.
